LOL...I have a Sony Vaio that only works if you slip a folded business card under the memory card...need something or other sautered, I forget exactly what????

Well...

.... since we're crawling out with out humorous "asides" on our computer "issues"... In addition to the Dell with the corner of a credit card slipped next to the power plug... I also have another Dell which the kids were using as their computer... and while using it a couple weeks ago my older daughter abruptly declared "Daddy, something is on FIRE?!!!" And a moment later we had a wisp of smoke snake up from her notebook Dell. I unplugged it - tested everything later in a seperate local and declared the computer inoperable.

AnD - if that's not enough to **** an eyebrow... a few years ago I bought 3 Dell notebooks as promo items for my business... and (please don't expect me to elaborate further) but they got RUN OVER somewhat by a car. All three at once cracking all of the screens and crumpling the corners of all three. Lets' just say I was not very pleased with that.

By the way ... if anyone is interested in 3 Dell notebook computers... slightly out of date and ... second quality condition... well... third tier condition... go ahead and send to my email address... DIS-DUMMY@hotmail.org :thumbsup2

Sometimes I feel sorry for him; he looks so out of place!

Your Angelina is your blessing; I love all the pictures you post of her. She is so beautiful and looks so happy. You and Hazel have three angels, and she is the one here on earth.

Yes, I see your point there about your son, Angelina is on the other scale, so to speak, she is one of the shortest girls in her class and has tiny feet, which makes her mad because we had to go into a children's shoe store to get her a pair of Uggs for Christmas. I think she wears like a size 3 shoe.

I have a pink dress shirt I wear all the time. People say it takes a brave man to wear pink, but I don't think so.

I agree...

I have a pink polo dress shirt and I feel perfectly at home in it when I visit West Hollywood or West L.A..

I opened a photobucket account, it's free.

I copied one of the pictures that Crash provided (that's not us) onto my desktop.

From photobucket I uploaded the photo. I tried to re-size it in photobucket but everytime I pasted it it was too big. I ended up copying the re-sized photo back onto my desktop & then back into photobucket.

Anyway, after you have it in photobucket there are three URL addresses for pasting the photo. Pick the third option (line) When you click on the URL it will say "copied"

Back at the DIS scroll to the top of the page until you see the red bar.
click on user CP
click on edit signature
click your curser in the open box
click on the picture of the postcard (with the mountain) at the top of the box
a new box will pop up
paste your URL from photobucket in that new box
you can then see a preview before saving the changes.

let me know if it doesn't work. i'll be on and off the boards for a while.

OK, I think I have done this right, Is the pic size ok?

We're going to start a club - way more than half of my posts are on this thread too!

My post count has gone up 4X. We ought to get someone to do the math on who has the largest percentage increase in their post count as a result of this thread (minimum 100 posts prior to posting here).

We watch Super Nanny with Angelina, after each episode she will say, "That's why I'm not having any kids!!!" It's funny, when she was about six years old, she told us she was having 50 kids, we told her WE (mom and dad) were running away from home!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I watch that show to make me see that my kids aren't THAT bad sometimes. :lmao:

did I get it?

I want to say that it was at a store called The Bay Company.....sort of across the street from the ship museum, where you can go ON the ships. KWIM?

I'm familiar with the museum so I should be able to find it. Besides, I've had a taste for Hooters hot wings, so now I have an excuse to go. It's all in the same area.

And, yes, I like Hooters for the wings...:rotfl: ....but I never have any trouble convincing any of my male friends to take me there.

I don't know what came over me today, maybe it's because BJ's 18th birthday is one week from today.

OK, I've got to run and pick up my other baby girl from her friend's house so we can have some dinner, sketties, Texas Garlic Toast with a mixed green salad on the side.

Be back later y'all

Andy, I feel honoured that you have shared this with us at such a special time.

DH and I went to Hooters on our honeymoon...
