I love the pillow from Pottery Barn...I try to never go in that store.....my total weakness!! I redid the beach house two years go and I think I spent $10,000 in linens from PB....If my DH knew that he would KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLL me!!

Any other PB fans out there? In Leesburg VA there is an OUTLET store. I think it is their only one. It is really really nice. I love it!!

Love PB!!! Both boys bedrooms and bathrooms are PBK!!! I avoid the store intentionally and try to toss the catalogs just to restrain myself....so sad....

you're right a house and new stuff in it, what was I thinking :confused3

nite maz, chat with you tomorrow.

I'm out for a while, lunch, pick up kids, play practice, IT's THURSDAY !!!! SURVIVOR!!!! I'll chat with you guys from the couch & tv later :happytv:

Nan

p.s. our trees (apricot, plum/peach & fruitless cherry) are in bloom here too but the wind is blowing the little blossoms in the air...here and gone oh too quick!
Even though I'm not liking this season at all, I'm waiting for Survivor tonight too. I'm hoping it will get better, so I keep watching it!

I got the clipart for free online, I can give you the website (I have to look for it). The fonts I had. I then created the whole thing in MS Publisher and printed them out onto the iron-on paper and then put them on the pillowcase. Lessons learned after ruining one pillowcase...do not use fabric softener. Also, with the iron-on, you really can't wash them, so they become a decorative pillow that you hope your kids don't dirty because once you wash it the iron-on looks funky, not crisp like in the picture. So far my kids have not touched theirs and just left them on display, which is why still look nice!

We have done the pillow case with washable Sharpies (fabric). We went to Target and bought a Disney pillow case and had them signed onboard. We have washed them a 1000 times and they still look pretty...but the kids sleep on them and take them to sleep overs and have had a ball with them. I am thinking of one of each....an everyday one (ours are really wearing out) and a decorative one.....like the PB pillowcase.

This is the right Sharpie to use:

Sharpie® Rub-A-Dub® Laundry Marker, Permanent, 1.0mm, Will Not Spread or Feather, Black Ink

Sanford - SAN31101

This porous tip laundry marker is permanent on cloth.
Ink will not spread or feather; For use on white and light colored fabrics.
AP Certified NonToxic, Conforms to ASTM D-4236.

Later folks! I'm off to join a co-worker at a new restaurant (I think it's called Mango's Mexican Grill). :goodvibes

I also have a really high quality copy of the characters in front of the ship and would be happy to do up a couple of designs with dates. Will post them in the photos page of the website.

COOL ---- Thanks!

going to have to try on come crocs...at the mall, not sure I could wear those flip flops so I better try them before I buy them online...

thanks to all of you who inspired me....

I need new shoes....

like I needed another whole in my head.:lmao:

at least they are Jimmy Choos...

(well I will be at the mall, so I might have to go to Nordstrom and it is my birthday this month...March 30th)

I love the croc flip flops. My mom has 10 pair or so (seriously) (so now everyone knows where my shoe thing started:lmao: ) and I have borrowed them a few times. They are very comfy. I am sure I will be snagging a pair rather than buying some for the cruise. Once I snag, it rarely goes back! :cool1:

Yes Please, I would like to do this for our MED Cruise!! I love the pillow from Pottery Barn...I try to never go in that store.....my total weakness!!

That is the one catalogue that DH will throw away before I see it if he can  I have no control when it comes to their stuff. My dd's new rooms (we are hoping to move within the next 2 months) will be all PBK. I have it all earmarked in a catalogue exactly what I want. We have the store here in Bellevue, but I rarely get up there (probably a good thing). An outlet sounds amazing.

Thank you and yes, feel free to ask away (I answered the rest of your questions a post or two prior to this one). I'm not an expert by any means, but I did the best I could and I tend to be a perfectionist (which is a problem)...
Thanks, it will probably be the day before we are ready to leave that I remember I wanted to do something like that and I will be PM'ng you in a panic:rotfl2:

That would be great PJ. Thanks so much.

I think we should appoint someone to be the official packing list coordinator who will do a last minute check list for everyone!!

:surfweb:

Mom 323, I saw on the discussion board that your birthday is the 23rd March. Mine too!:thumbsup2 Next year will be my 60th, so no thumbs up for that!!!

I'll be 52 this year and celebrating at WDW this year. :cool1: I think all birthdays after 50 should be celebrated with Disney. It makes us feel young again. :cutie:

15 more days until Birthday cake.

If they came out with a Mickey Ipod then assimilation would be okay. :rotfl:

Sophia and I are watching DVR episodes of Mythbusters. No AI fans here.

And, BTW, all you Californians can stop talking about your beautiful weather NOW. We never thought winter would get here in December, and now I think it will NEVER leave!

Boy, is that the truth, we froze our b**** off earlier in the week, had snow on Wednesday and school was cancelled again. No more snow days for us. The kids are now going until June 15th.

Only 300 more posts to go and I'll be caught up. :cool1:

:offtopic: :offtopic: :offtopic:

I just wanted to share my Wii story with everyone. Totally of topic:confused3
Has anyone else tried to get a Wii? The new nintendo game system. Well, I am president of DD's school's PTA (a whole other story about how I got tricked into that position:lmao: ) and we have our annual bingo night tomorrow. I had the dumb idea:idea: about 3 weeks ago that our grand prize should be a Wii. I mean it came out 3 months ago, how hard could it be to get one!? I have spent every day for the last 3 weeks dreaming of Wii's (between my disney dreams of course) and stressing over these things. The moment a store gets them in, they sell out  You basically have to be there when they unpack the boxes to get one. I work, so that isn't possible and the rest of the board aren't that reliable.:sad2: Anyway, yesterday, 2 local stores got 10 in, and I didn't call first thing in the am like I always do (I was busy making Chef Mickey's reservations-priorities you know) and I missed them all. 2 more days until bingo and still no grand prize. On a whim today (all my area stores told me no more deliveries for at least 2 weeks) I called Target this am on my way to work. Yes, they got 12 in this am..and they still had 9 :cool1: :cool1: "Can I buy it over the phone?" "no, sorry you have to come in". Great, I am going to be late for work, will my patient understand that I was on a Wii hunt?! :rotfl: Anyway, threw my DD in the cart at Target, RAN (yes ran through the store in high heels) and got back there just in time to snag the LAST Wii!!!! :thumbsup2 So, stress is over. We have the Wii for the bingo night and I can now focus all my energy on dreaming of disney!! :woohoo:
Now, back to DCL discussions, thanks for letting me share!
