ok - this kid is high on something...she is jumping fromt he arm of the couch to John, we hate to be bad paretns but she's so little and cute and I think we both would love to be doing it, shhhh we are letting her.
What, are you kidding me? I do this all the time and Tyler's always yelling at me, "MOM....would you QUIT jumping off the couch?!" :rotfl: (Kidding, of course.....you know it's the other way around, but I'd sure love to sometimes!)

You can always replace the couch...

The girls only grow up once... :goodvibes

Oh...yes....we have 2 dance companies, 1 drill team, 1 performing group, 1 voice lesson each week and then there are competitions.....costs for group numbers and Jamie's solo. Oh yeah....then there was the choreography fee for the solo and another costume that had to be made. Oh....and trips to perform at Disneyland, Japan and everywhere in between.......................

Zoe was just asking me on the way home if Jamie was going on the cruise or coming to see her at DL?

Wicked will be playing in L.A. after our cruise. After the 2005 westbound PC cruise, I believe there was a group of cruisers that went to see the Lion King. Woody

As we walked out today I was thinking the same thing, that there may be some families who want to see it.

Only 7? I have a whole craft room downstairs completely full with scrapbook stuff. Have one of those 20 cubicle shelves from IKEA from floor to just about ceiling, all full. When I get a chance, I'll have to take a picture.....

Good I don't feel alone now.

Ooooh!! I LOVE the music to that show. The show was great ... but I LOVE the music. The kids and I just saw it in January(perhaps not-so) Interesting "Wicked" facts about Karen ...

that is interesting

When I was on the DVC member cruise in October, 2007, Eden Espinoza was one of the performers for "Belles on Broadway" night. ...

Funny story!

I am now reading the book. Taking me a little time to read though, because I have to concentrate when I read (unlike romance novels! :rotfl: )

Not as funny a book as the show. .

My favorite is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond as Joseph. I've seen that about 80 times at least. (That is only because I worked on the production with Donny and saw it from backstage every night for 8 weeks, or maybe it was 10?) Anyway, that's my favorite.I am also hooked on Wicked right now. Love the music. After seeing the play, it makes me think of The Wizard of Oz in a whole different light!
I so totally agree! the twist and turns are shocking and have me tearing up through the whole show.

That is very funny, I've got a cute story for you. When I was touring with Jesus Christ Superstar we would get invited to all the other touring shows in each city (we went to over 100 cities on the tour.) In Detroit, we got invited to see Donny in Joseph. When I was little all my friends saw the Osmonds in concert and my mom wouldn't let me go (she cited a useless story at the time about her mom not letting her go see Elvis.) So, I went to the show with Carl Anderson and his wife (Carl died last year and his wife used to be married to Muhammad Ali, so we got invited everywhere!) After the show, Carl told Donny the whole story and then called me over to meet him (I didn't realize he'd told him) and the two of them made such a huge deal about it purposely teasing me that I must have turned 8 shades of red. I walked out of that theater and was walking on clouds - called all my childhood friends to tell them. :cloud9: Now, I've met some of the cream of the crop celebs, but he was so special and sweet.

Linda, you must have loved that experience! We're you in wardrobe for the local theater when it came to your town? I used to love meeting all the local people who would welcome us at each theater.

Are we like kindred souls or what??? When I tell people Donny was my favorite Joseph ... well ... I get looks!! :scared1: How fun to work on the show.My favorite is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond as Joseph.

See above about the very kind DO!

Found the National Wedding Cake Competition on the Food Network - these cakes are amazing works of art!

I just watched that too, I never miss any of those competitions.

Lisa is Daniel in the condo yet?

He has till the fall for that. He is still in the grossest dirtest dorm on the East Coast....YUCK!! It is an all male dorm and it SMELLS SO BAD....

I saw on the web site that construction has started. LOVE LOVE LOVE this interest rates falling.....great timing for us. We are buying this with another family and the mortgage divided by 2 will be cheaper than rent!!

It is so cute!! Wish I could move into it!!

I am really liking it Monica . . . almost at the West Coast now in the book . . . hard to stop listening.

It did take me a while the 1st time read it to get it all straight in my head, but after that it didn't take me long to finish reading it.

Forgot to mention that Wicked was great again. The new Elphaba was just as great, but this time the headmistress was JoAnn Worley instead of Carol Cane. She was very fun, and very different. DH absolutely loved it and DD was mesmerized by it. I wasn't sure how she'd do with a 3 hour show, but she loved it. Towards the end she said, "wait, wait wait a min. that doesn't happen in the Wizard of OZ."

Can I come over to play????

We just got back from the movie too. I can't believe you could listen to the book for any of the show, are your ears ringing?

In-ear earbuds. I thought about taking the BOSE noise canceling headphones, but that would probably have been too conspicuous.
