20090208 - DIS-BOUTIQUERS Gather here!!

I think everything is packed, except for a few things that we will use in the morning before we leave.
We need to try to get to sleep early. We leave at o'dark thirty! We should be in Florida by 9:05 a.m.! Hopefully we will be able to make it to MK by noon!
I think we have all of our outfits planned. Extra ones too. Leighanna has already told me that she will wear her customs for our ADR's but then wants to change. I told her that she can change when we go back to the resort! I worked too hard to have her wear those things I made for a dinner!
We will have our pink and gray maclaren Volo. Leighanna is almost too big for it, but I know that she will get tired and I am NOT carrying her! Better to have her happy, and we can use the under storage for carrying our purchases!
We will be there until next Wednesday afternoon. I think Jeanne will be there all next week.

Looking forward to meeting everyone and their families!

I am bringing my laptop, so I will check in here on Thursday. I think I will be too tired tomorrow night to even get on the laptop!

Yes! Hopefully around noon! We have 6:30 p.m. ADR's for Tony's. So we plan to play before then!
How late are you going to be there Cindee? I hope we can run into you and Morgan! I know Leighanna would love to meet and play with her!

We should have our Lady and the Tramp outfits on! Probably jackets too! I am packing a turtleneck for Leighanna, I fear it is going to be as cold there as it is here!
I see the weekend though looks extremely nice!

Don't you love the Mac's? I didn't even buy ours until Dallas was bigger and older and hardly used a stroller around here. Why did no one tell me about these before he was born!

No, not too old. She is just afraid that if she rides Space Mountain, BTMR, Splash Mountain, or other rides, that her dress will fly up in her face! I told her that won't happen, and she will be wearing either leggings or bike shorts under them! Silly girl!

We love our Mac! We have used it on every Disney trip so far! So sturdy and steers like a dream! My big feet don't even hit the back of it like our old cheapo did!

I am coming right along. Cleaning a room or two of the house a day (must always leave with a clean house so I can trash it the second we get home).

Finished 2 shirts so far today, Dale and then a Cuties Pluto. Hoping to get 4 or 5 more done (3 are cheater Mickey Heads).

My only thing I am not getting done is items tagged for a consignment sale that I have drop off day sunday after we get back saturday night!

Jeanne, how is your sewing list coming along? Steph, done with the new outfits? I loved the new pants tutorial!

I cannot find a room for friday night, all that is available is Saratoga Springs for $339 (no thanks) so I am not sure what we'll do now. Not that I really had a plan in place before! I was hoping to hit the MK on saturday night though!

OMG Jessica! That reminds me of the time I went to DW with XH. We were driving down (from Arkansas with a stop in MS to drop off the dogs). We didn't know if we would make it the 12 hrs on Saturday, so we decided to not make a reservation anywhere. We said we would just stop and get a place when we were tired. . . well, it was memorial day weekend. We made it the whole way to Orlando and couldn't find a room ANYWHERE. We ended up staying at that big obnixious hotel when you first get into Orlando- the circle one. It was soooooo cheesy. We took pics of just how cheesy it was. It was a fun memory though.

It was COLD in the MK parking lot-the wind was COLD!!!!!!!! Around 11 am.
Mk was warmer. I wore a Fleece pullover. The was supposed to be 50 that felt about right.

I looked last night for a hotel near Downtown Disney and found quite a few for this coming weekend on Hotel Plaza.

I think we might end up there. The disney lady said she could see some available there but it wouldn't let her book them for some reason. That really irks me about rooms at disney, it is like they are there, but you can't have them. I had no idea they could do anything with those, but she told me that was what she was looking at.

We also could just leave later and stay in Gainesville for the evening.

Aside from needing to sew a jumper and easy fit's for Little and doing my shirt we're GO.

I'm gonna get home and get to bed so I can SEW tomorrow.

It WAS COLD today! Even for this Ohio native!

We had a wonderful time today. Had a great visit with Cindee and Morgan. Leighanna has a new friend as do we!

It ended with an O.K. dinner at Tony's. The waitstaff and CM's were wonderful and just made over us in our Lady and Tramp attire!

The manager wanted to do something for us. Our server told us to stick around for just a second after we were done. One person came over and gave Leighanna a whole stack of Lady and the Tramp stickers. We thought we were done. Our waitress told us no!
We were asked if we collected L & T stuff. We told her that Leighanna has a stuffed Lady, but not Tramp yet.
Well, as we were waiting out front, the manager came over to us and handed us a bag. Inside the bag was a stuffed Tramp and a full collectible set of Lady and tramp pins! We were overwhelmed!

So, those of you that make customs, I believe that they do and can make your memories even more special!

It is cold here and supposed to get colder tonight. I hope it will warm up by the weekend: it is supposed to be high in teh 70's by then.

I'm living the Murphy's Law of sewing today. But I'm still going. Yesterday I made 8 Mickey head applique shirts, 2 embroidery applique shirts, I helped my sister make her DD 2 skirts,and I made a pair of capris. Today I made a skirt and 2 embroidered tees. Of all these items, I believe 3 of the shirts were for my kids. The rest were for my friend who's going to Disneyworld too. So far, even if I manage a miracle and make Lily 2 outfits tomorrow, she will still be 1 custom shy so T, it looks like no "custom change" for the Dismeet. I would rather show off her 7-dwarves skirt but she'll need it later. We'll see though, she may have to wear it twice. I'm exhausted. I really need to make one more shirt for Jayden too. It looks like I won't have a 40th birthday shirt for myself. I'll have to go buy one at DTD or something. I'm making matchy Cinderella tees and skirts for Jayden and her BFF to wear to BBB. By matchy I mean identical they like matching and ruffles so I'm not complaining. I've had a nightmare of a time with tee shirts on the embroidery machine. I did not leave it's side for 2 1/2 hours and still managed to catch the tee UNDER the hoop. Okay, must finish skirt so I can go to bed...I mean watch Lost on the DVR.

I LOVE the Morgan/Leighanna meet! That is a gorgeous picture of 2/3 of the most beautiful girls at Disneyworld today! (The other 1/3 being Tessa of course).

I'm gettng excited but I haven't even started to pack yet! Or clean for that matter, Jessica, come help! I'll clean and you can sew! I never did get Lily's MMCH outfit made.
