Hey did I ever say I used to live in AZ. around your parts (sorta) I went to High school there. Actually, the past few years been in the talks of moving back. I love AZ.

That's funny... I have met a lot of Californians who want to come over here, while , most of my friends want to move to California. We hate the AZ heat. It is just too much.

I'm so glad you are enjoying it... I hope it did not leave you too sleep deprived.

I will have another part up tonight.

James (and Chris too)

I have really been enjoying your trip report and lurking along. As we've been preparing for our trip next week, I have actually pulled it up multiple times to show my kids pictures of HMH and other Halloween-related things. I have also decided we are going to Carnation Cafe for sure based on the recent pictures you and other DISers have posted.

Thanks for an entertaining look at the parks. I think you two really embody the spirit of Disneyland -- that it turns all of us Grumpy grown-ups into Goofy kids again.:)

Your Breakfast at Minnie’s looks good. I have always wanted to try it, but I just can’t bring myself to sit and eat while the park is virtually empty. It the golden time of the day- short lines and no crowds. :thumbsup2

I LOVED it when DCA had Chef Mickey. I haven’t been back since the Princesses took over. :sad1:

Whereabouts in AZ?

I was scanning the photo where they were filming to see if I saw anyone I know. Until recently, I was a producer for an entertainment company, and the Disney Store was my biggest client.

You cannot imagine how many hoops one has to jump through in order to get a film crew into Disneyland, whether it's for a Disney client or not. And that was a pretty big crew.

I digress.

I'm glad to know that my TR has helped you prepare for your upcoming DLR vacation. That makes me feel all warm and gooshy :goodvibes

Carnation Cafe is great. I hope you enjoy it

I can understand not wanting to use up the morning eating, I normally feel that way. However, we had 5 days in the park and we were able to take it slow without feeling like we were missing much.

Wow that is pretty cool... I have to wonder though, how do you think Disneyland is going to use this commercial. Another give a day, get a disney day plug perhaps?

I sure hope they have a theme for their 55th anniversary.

Yeah, gosh...it could be anything. We were involved in the YOAMD ad that ran in stores...hard to tell with just the one little kid in costume. My guess would be that they were just shooting one small portion of the ad, and will probably come back several different times, if it is indeed a Disneyland ad.

PART 13!

After breakfast, my mother and I headed to Toon Town, while Chris went to grab fast passes for HMH... I think. I decided that I should take my mother on Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin as she loves teacups and dark rides... so I thought it would be a good fit.

100_2794.jpg

My mom loved roger... she just did not like how cramped her legs were in the car.

After RRCS, we headed over to Mickey's house because we just had to tell him what a good time we were having at his park.

100_2797.jpg

It is really hard to look at Mickey the same after a certain episode of South Park.

After, we left Mickey's house, we cut through fantasyland and made our way to frontierland. My mother wanted to check out the stores, while Chris and I went on BTMRR.

After BTMRR, we headed over to HMH as we knew we would not have another chance.

100_2817.jpg

Once we said our good-byes to the mansion, I ran to the hungry bear to use the bathroom, before we met back up with my mother....

I never noticed these before...

100_2824.jpg

100_2825.jpg

I miss the Country Bear Jamboree.

We met back up with my mother in Frontierland and headed to tomorowland. I asked my mother if there was any other rides that she wanted to go on, but she had had enough. She wanted to sit and people watch as Chris and I went to Star tours and SMGG.

WHY DID THE CARS COME OUT EMPTY? WHAT HAPPENED TO THOSE PEOPLE?

100_2829.jpg

100_2831.jpg

After SMGG, we headed through Main Street as my mom wanted to go back to DTD before she went back to nap at the hotel.

100_2833.jpg

100_2834.jpg

After my mother shopped a little more at DTD, we headed back to the hotel. Chris and I had one thing in mind... NEVERLAND POOL.

I was so excited to try this. It was really a nice touch to the hotel. It makes me really certain that I will stay there again.

100_2838.jpg

The Skull Rock water slid was a lot of fun! I went down it twice while we were there. When you slide down you are completely surrounded by plant life of some kind, so it appears as if you are completely enclosed. It is a really nifty effect. The pool was warm and relaxing, but I particularly enjoyed the Mermaid Lagoon hot tub.

100_2839.jpg

100_2841.jpg

We enjoyed the pool for about 45 minutes before we knew we had to get back to the parks. The jacuzzi did wonders in recharging our batteries. So we were excited and ready to go...

That brings us to the end of Part 13.

AS ALWAYS... THANKS FOR READING! I HOPE YOU ARE STILL ENJOYING!

Coming soon... PART 14! Good bye DCA, AWESOME TOT PIC and more!

Great pictures, loving the sudden dispparence of the riders on SMGG... maybe their trapped in the twilight zone!

Whereabouts in AZ?

I lived in Ahwatukee. I went to Mountain Pointe. I still have a lot of friends there. I normally visit at least once or twice a year if I can.

I remember that heat James. I love the storms though. They are awesome! :thumbsup2 It sure is nice up here though too. I do love Sonoma county. so close to everything, just hours from snow, less than an hour from San Francisco, the beach the trees. pretty good except the prices to live. ha!

See there was a reason I woke up at 3:30am to jump on the computer.... It was not because I couldn't sleep! It was because there are topless pictures of the fabulous ninja and Super Fly Chris. Except one thing, WHO is this little redhead in the pictures...hmmmm Im not so sure Im likin this! haha I might just have to have a talkin to that fishlady!

I really like the looks of that skull slide! It look pretty rad, if I do say so myself.

It was all Chris's idea on the, what appears to be Ariel, pictures, I loved the way they turned out.

Looking forward to your last installment!

I will be working on the next installment shortly. I hope you enjoy.

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN!

PART 14!

Once Chris420 and I dried off and got dressed again, we headed back through DTD to DCA.

100_2842.jpg

Along the way to Paradise Pier, I realized that I had not had one of my favorite DLR treats!

Mickey Bar!
100_2843.jpg

I munched on my Mickey bar as we made our way to PP.

100_2844.jpg

100_2845.jpg

100_2846.jpg

We had one goal in mind... California Screamin!

100_2847.jpg

100_2849.jpg

After we left Screamin, we headed over to the Single rider line at TSMM and we got to sit together!!!

This is me doing my happy dance!

100_2852.jpg

Chris has his game face on!

100_2853.jpg

100_2854.jpg

I love TSMM and was very happy that we did not have to miss it on this trip.

I don't remember what our scores were, but I know that we both won beavers!

We said our good-byes to paradise pier as we wanted to see Brittany one last time before we left. We texted her and found out that she was on her break until 5 but would be back in the Animation Buidling after that. That worked for us, as we had something planned for TOT.

100_2855.jpg

100_2856.jpg

100_2857.jpg

As we headed to the Hollywood pictures backlot, we passed Goofy's candy corn acres.

100_2859.jpg

We had to give our farewells to another disney friend. We walked with excitement over to the Tower of Terror, as it is Chris's favorite ride, and after this trip, I think it might be mine as well.

100_2861.jpg

It seems that the Hollywood tower hotel offers complimentary newspapers for their guests.

100_2863.jpg

After our relaxing stay at the Tower, we needed to kill some more time before we could so see Brittany, as she was still on her break. So we stopped to relax in the smoking area for a little bit.
100_2864.jpg

I look so funny in my ears, with a cigarette in my hand. Not right...
100_2865.jpg

Once we finished, we realized that we still had about ten minutes before Brittany would be back in the Animation Building. There was a 5 minute wait time posted for Monster's Inc, so we thought that might be a good option.

PART 14B coming right up

PART 14B!!!

On our way out of Monster's Inc, we stopped to take a couple pics in front of the fountain...

100_2891.jpg

100_2892.jpg

Once the clock struck 5, we walked over to the Animation Building. RIght as we walked in, Chad and Brittany were coming back on stage. We said our good-byes and made plans to see each other soon. We had hugs and laughs, and promised to stay in touch.

100_2894.jpg

As we left Brittany to go back to work, we said see you later to DCA, and we headed to the gates of DL

100_2896.jpg

That's the end of PART 14. We don't have that much more trip to report! Looks like only 2 more parts left. But they will be filled with awesome photo's and hardcore xxx food porn! So stay tuned as the next part should be up tomorow night!

COMING UP... PART 15!!! RACE AGAINST TIME. GOOD-BYE DISNEYLAND. CHRIS VS THE KITCHEN SINK!
