Did I spot a not so hidden Santa on a EVC in on of those pictures lol He was surely all decked out for the holiday wasn't he ? lol

great picture! i have a new motto - i'm no longer going to be sad when i read about people's last day at disney or when i myself experience a last day at disney. i'm going to be happy that they are there in the first place. like dr. suess says, "don't cry because it's over....smile because it happened."

i just love MK in the morning! even us non-early birds will get up early for that!

Sounds like a wonderful motto.
Mine will be something like this: "My carpet and clothes are threadbare, but we had a cotton pickin' good time on all of our Disney trips!"

I had a torn meniscus (sp?). It was supposed to be a simple out patient procedure, turned out to be anything but. First I developed an infection in my incision and had to go back in the hospital so they could open it back up, make an even bigger incision, and clean it out. I was in 3 days for that. We thought everything was fine but even after I started PT I had very little range of motion. MRI showed the tendon was now too short and stretched so tight they were afraid I was going to tear it again so it was more surgery, this time to lengthen the tendon (which I didn't even know they could do, but they can!) It's taken a lot of therapy on it but I'm finally able to get around a litle pretty good, but I still have a lot of swelling and can't walk too far. It only took 4 months since the original surgery to start getting better! Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting you guys. I've loved reading all your trip reports!

Torn meniscus is what mine was, too, and then something else he found when he got in there. Mine is good for one lap around the mall now. I guess swelling and pain will just be a part of our lives from here on out. It's better than it was, but it sure is annoying not to be able to just walk normally.

I have a hard time fathoming people wearing heavy coats in Florida.

It was pretty cold a couple of days, but it was warm enough that the girls swam one day, too.

The best weather times we've ever had overall have been October and November.

Things are going really well so far. The adjustment and recovery is a lot better than I expected. Ellie sleeps and eats great and cries very little. She is very calm so far - a bit different than how her big sister was. Abby has been unbelievable, too. I have July 17th on my calendar for a possible Hippo meet!

Well, we recognize CM's, but I don't know about them recognzing us. I know the Pop workers probably know me - There's the crazy lady that walks around taking pictures before the sun is up...again!
