:thumbsup2 Way to go Captain!!

Hey, don't feel bad about looking up dead relatives! I am a genealogy nut too, I don't have any relatives from Catalonia, but just ask Jon and Marie about Canterbury, UK! I am related to all the dead people in the Cathedral there! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

and don't ask my husband about wandering around the cemeteries in Yorkshire, either.

I have TONS of dead relatives in Europe. I cant swing a dead cat without hitting one:lmao:
My genelogy was easy to do...( I hate saying this !!!) they are all kings and queens from Poland, England France, Arogon, Italy, on and on..... what a royal pain in the A## !:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

And a big thanks to Kimberly:love:

Annie:cool2:

I have amended your preferences

I did not get the option to safe this as a PDF either. I managed to work around this by copying the Excel worksheet into a Word document and from their into Paint, which them allowed me to save this a JPEG. It might be a slightly roundabout way, but it works.

I love this tattoo. I have been tempted for years now to either get a butterfly, a dolphin or a Figment tattoo, but I was never quite brave enough.

I might be temped to go to the fountains after our meet on Friday.

Thanks to you and Helen for all the hard work you put into this.

This sounds like a great find.

Really the workshops are full. However, I have now had requests from 4 additional people. I suppose I can split this into 3 groups with 8 people each and do two back to back sessions on September 21st. Could you let me have your preferences for necklaces and cellphone charms? Also could you let me have your Dsis DIS Name and let me know if either of you has Palo tea booked?

Tru, if you and R still want in, I can accommodate you. Could you please let me have the same information?

Well, things are finally coming together. My jewellery for formal night finally turned up today and is utterly gorgeous. I rushed out of the house this morning and never put any jewellery on so I am wearing the set now. I can't wait to wear this with my evening gowns.

My Champagne Girl tiara arrived yesterday. It is tiny and esstially just a comb with some frills, but it is really cute and will do. I also got my pillow case to be signed by the characters yesterday. So now I am pretty much ready. I just need the components for the last Fish Extended gift, which will be custom made for me.

DH is starting to get in on the excitement as well. He has been shaking his head for months now about me making magnets and having t shirts printed for the cruise. This morning he said that he had seen a t shirt somewhere with the caption "Six out of seven dwarfs are not Happy". He really wanted one of those. So I got on to one of the talented DISigners and he made me up a great graphic, which I will have printed on a t shirt for DH. I can't wait to see his face when he sees this.

Corinna
Hi Corinna, R and I are thrilled to be included in the group. We would both like to do the Champagne Girl necklace and if possible the Pirate themed cellphone charm. One of her favourite games to play with me was "pirates" so this will be a nice souvenir of those days as well as this trip but we will go along with anything you decide to do Thanks again for arranging this. I love the idea for your t-shirt. What a nice surprise for your DH. Trudy

Oh don't be ashamed to say that! That's awesome, Princess Annie!!!! princess:

Hard Rock Cafe.

Price wise, decent. You can probably find cheaper if you look but this place has everything. Sorta like a Wal-mart except you want to shop here. Clothing, :)

It sounds great....we want to go to somewhere easy to get to from the port.

Welcome!! We are Dennis and Angie. You can meet many of us "gently aged" folks at Cove Cafe for the Geezer and Geezer in Training Meets. No need to sign up for this, there is no list as some Geezer would just lose it anyway. :confused3:lmao:

Oh we own a Yaris! Love the litte toad. We bought it because they are perfect to tow behind the RV (manual transmission) and have grown to love it. We really, really wanted a Smart car since they also tow nicely, but we decided since this would be our only car after retirement that we needed room for a grandkid or two occasionally. Both are very safe in accidents. :thumbsup2

As said before... Geezer meets in the evenings at Cove Cafe, you need not sign up, you need not be an official Geezer, we Geezers are more than willing to train younger folks on how Geezing should be done. :thumbsup2

Oh, I would hold it too! :scared1: I can hold it for a VERY long time under certain circumstances! This would be one of those circumstances. ;) :rolleyes1

Trudy, you too should come visit the Geezers!
I would love to, thanks. Trudy

Wow! THIS IS WHY WE ARE DOING FE GROUPS INSTEAD OF TRYING TO GIVE A GIFT TO EACH STATEROOM! WOW!

BTW.....I see nobody is in the Strawberry group yet. How does it work? you only give gifts to those in your own fruit group? Thanks, Connie

Wow! THIS IS WHY WE ARE DOING FE GROUPS INSTEAD OF TRYING TO GIVE A GIFT TO EACH STATEROOM! WOW!...

We had exactly 50 cabins who participated in the FE gift exchange, and some more that only participated in the Secret Mickey Exchanged. Personally, I found 50 manageable and really enjoyed dropping off gifts all over the ship. It was excellent exercise after dinner a few different nights! The key was that I was able to send it all to the ship before flying to Orlando.

If you're in with the Strawberry group, there others signed up. The list Sue has on Page 1 needs the Strawberries populated for her to post. I can't remember who is organizing the Strawberries, so I'll let that person share more. You are only expected to give to those in your fruity group. :rotfl:

For new cruiser's and those who have missed it:

Every DIS'er (and their traveling party) will be getting a Lime Green, Glow in the dark Wristband as a gift.

What do you need to do to get yours? Go to:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...TRWQzB6djZHbDdqMnpWcEE&hl=en&authkey=CO-hn9MD

and put in the following information:

DIS name, cabin number (please update when known for GTY) and the size you need for each cruiser - sizes are guarenteed through August 6 - we will be ordering extras in all sizes and will be first come first serve after August 6 - but please fill in your sizes even if after August 6!

The sizes are:

LARGE - 8 3/8" MEDIUM - 7 3/8" SMALL- 5 7/8"
these are in inches - and I do not know how to convert for non-USA people.

Here is the size info from the maker:

Wristbands come in three sizes: large, medium, and child. The large bands are 8 3/8" around and will fit most adults and large-framed teenagers. The medium bands are 7 3/8" around and generally fits ages six and up, including most teenagers and small-framed women. The child bands are 5 7/8" around and typically fit children 4-6 years old. Wristbands are not intended for children younger than four years old.

KrissanB is taking names for the strawberry group.

I am going to try the same thing for all of our group. It is a first for me so I hope it works out. Good luck with your. Trudy

I like the transfers for dark t-shirts (produces a richer result,) better on all projects, especially if they have a defined boarder, like the front graphic. But the light t-shirt transfer material (always produces a more muted result,) might work better for the back graphic since there is so much empty space on it.

I am doing a smallish version of the front graphic on the left upper section of the front of my shirt (kind of over the where a pocket would go,) with my dis name and maybe just the flags on the one of the sleeves.

I am going to actually measure what will look good on the shirt, then bring the graphics into word and use the format photo (right click on the photo) to adjust the size, then print in mirrored/transfer setting, making sure to print as a vivid photo to get richer colours, and let it dry.

:thanks::thanks: to everyone on the Wristband Team!

Ordered our shirts, but will go with the flow for which night.
Did I mention that we're pretty easy?

:
That must be a Taryn thing for sure. My Taryn is a hoarder and her room is a terrible mess miost of the time. I have asked her to sort it out and have promised her a new drawing table for her trouble. Small world !!

So funny these artistic Taryns are an ocean apart, years apart, but so similar!

Well I am sitting here quite miserable for my trouble today. My allergies are quite severe, even after an antihistamine. I am so allergic to dust and boy was there plenty. We managed to strip the room bare (my livingroom looks like I am a hoarder - best close the blinds!), dusted, wet-dusted, cleaned everything, swept and washed the floors, and managed to sort, organize and put away every stitch of clothing she owns (and mentally made a packing list for the trip), and rearranged her furniture. The room looks great! The problem is, none of her stuff is in it! :rotfl: Tomorrow we do the yucky stuff of going through everything and purging. She is so not looking forward to letting anything go. But part of being a parent is to introduce them to new and challenging things, and this activity has that in spades. Our reward for tomorrow is going to IKEA for new sheets and her desk.

Sorry to write about my totally suburban day, but I feel quite accomplished!
