The Sweet Meet - Dis'ers do Hershey

LOL... 2 week long WDW trips, a weekend in Savannah GA for my brother's college Graduation, a possible weekend trip in May for another DIS Meet.... and Cedar Point... all in 2011..... I wonder if I can talk my job into giving me my extra week of paid time off a couple years early. :rotfl:

I'd be up for CP. But it's a little longer of a drive for us. It's about 375 miles for us instead of 10.

But, I would enjoy the weekend (or more) away.

I was thinking of Ocean City, MD or something like that. Is Cedar Point good for kids?

Nearest airport is?

Nearest hotel with a gravel parking lot is?

Nearest Fudruckers is?

Its halfwayish between Toledo and Cleveland.
There's a Knight's Inn that would work lovely for us, and is quite close to the park. (On property stays are more outrageous at CP than WDW.)

There's one somewhere near by, I think I remember seeing it....

They have Camp Snoopy and another area that are kid zones. Totally kid friendly. Just no free candy. =)

:thumbsup2 - 17 Roller Coasters... WOW!!! Wonder if I would survive... but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Mark

It is quite a feat to conquer all 17 in one day. Near impossible with a group larger than 2.

Oh there are some of those water park inside the hotel places in the area too.

Yes! There is also a Kalahai very close for those looking for deluxe accommodations with kids. In fact, I think I'll stay there if we decide on this meet. Lots of kids activities, the beach to play on, water park, fun hillbillies with crazy tattoos to watch (besides Paul)

Phillip has always wanted to go to Cedar Point. It would be great if he would have coaster buddies, since I'm such a wimp. Looks like it would be about a 5 hour drive for us from Indy.

Wow, that looks pretty cool. I've never heard of that place before. It looks like it would be a 9+ hour drive for us

8 hour drive for us but we'd be there with bells on! :dance3:

We had such a great time in Hershey! Thanks again Andrea for setting it up. :goodvibes

:headache: I don't know a thing about the place, so I feel it's better left to an expert of the area. :rolleyes1

BTW - 9 hour drive.

BTW, Hershey was a 10 hr drive for me!

I'd be happy to lead the charge if necessary, but I think Todd is the Cedar Point Expert...just say'en :rolleyes1

No no no, DC was where you were going, Hershey was a side stop. Therefore only a 3 hour drive for you. :teacher:
