Beaches and Cream Meet - DEC 18 UPDATE POST 19

Hi all,
How about a Beaches and Cream Kitchen Sink meet on Dec. 18th. They don't do ADRs there so we need to think about how we pull this off. Ideas? thoughts?

We did a Kitchen Sink meet before PCC 1.0. I think there were about a dozen of us...no ADR, of course, so we just met up at a mid-afternoon time and put our names in and waited! It wasn't too bad...

We won't be able to attend this one, but you guys will have fun!!

I would suggest getting there just before Beaches and Cream opens at 11. That weekend will be busier than when PCC 1.0 took place.

I just saw one guy eat the whole thing solo in 18 minutes via the magic of the internet. I don't suggest doing that. I'm not a big fan of every topping, but I wouldn't mind a mini version of the No Way Jose (which I just discovered you can request!)

In many restaurants, I wish they would serve a small portion at a smaller price. Especially when I am on vacation and can't bring home leftovers.

I too am not a fan of every topping, but I love the No Way Jose - but can never finish it. This is good to know that you can request a Mini No Way Jose.

BTW, just made some of our pre-cruise dining reservations and bought our tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on 12/16. It's starting to feel real!!

Mini No Way Jose is only $1.00 cheaper than the regular one. I had the mini in September but not a good deal the way the ring it up.

Well, it may be a poor deal, but it's tough to do that sundae and a lunch at Tusker House a couple hours later.

OK. Having done some reconaissance in October at Beaches and Cream. Best time to meet there is 11:30 AM. It is a small space and they do not take reservations. This way we can get seated close together.

We are going to order a kitchen sink. There will be substitutions to the normal ice cream - there will not be coffee ice cream.

Yay! Not a coffee drinker, nor do I enjoy coffee flavored food. (I think this is why I don't love zebra domes)

I am really looking forward to sharing a kitchen sink with new DIS friends.
