not as far as i'm aware but just stick it on another door with a FE i guess. there's going to be enough of them around!
never done this before so dont really know the logistics of it all, but hoping it goes round the ship and more importantly makes it back at the end!

thanks :) really pleased with the way it came out, just had a bit of a creative mad half hour. finally printed out the last bits i needed for my FE gifts, so they are all totally finished now, printed off some new ears for our door (we did have mickey ears, we're going for stitch ears this time), and made our travelling mickey magnet. need few more door magnets now but apart from that we're good!

for other people who are planning on doing the travelling door magnets, what characters are you thinking of doing? (just thinking it'd be fun if we all do different characters, that way we can see how many we can find during the cruise :))

i'm not massively technical when it comes to computers, so the only way i know how to make door magnets is by inserting images into a word document. unfortunately that means i cant directly link to a picture, i have to take a photo of it then post the photo. so thats what i've done, and here's my travelling mickey door magnet. i hope he gets to travel all over the ship :)

(ps: i dont know my room assignment at the mo, so will write that in the gap on the bottom once i've found out where we are)

Karen that is sooo cute .. love it :lovestruc Can I ask where you got the graphic, I'd love to have that.

someone on the creative boards made it for me :) they're awesome over there

Good thinking Karen !!! Sorted :thumbsup2

:offtopic:

I was delighted to read today why David and Victoria Beckham had called their new Daughter Harper!!!

Apparently the 3 boys love Wizards of Waverley Place and she is named after one of the characters Harper Finkle :wizard: Even the Beckhams love a good Disney link/name :lmao::lmao:

The middle name of Seven of course is for David's team number :worship:

I do think they confiscate wine that is in your main baggage though So, make sure you don't pack that special expensive bottle and carry it onboard yourself!!!

Nope Disney doesn't but other cruise lines do. We take at least 2 bottle of wine in our main luggage and it is always there say and sound when we get our luggage:cool1:

Hi Lynne,

How are the rash guards from Lands End? I was thinking about ordering one. Do they run big/small?

They run big, so much so that I didn't think they had Spandex in them - but checked the tag, yep, 18%. I ordered the size I would for a shirt and there's no clinging. Reviewers on their site say you might order down a size.

They have short/almost cap sleeved or long sleeved.

Most important, they are ON SALE through Tuesday $10-16 for short sleeve, $12-16 for long (women's) black, white, turquoise. One version of the short sleeve has a built-in bra, so order carefully.

I link through Delta Skymiles Shopping to get more bang for the buck - frequent flyer miles for shopping online. Check to see if your preferred carrier has this option.

I also got the terry long sleeve hooded coverup. Not terry cloth, a thinner material, which should help on the luggage weight.

And this sale comes just a day after I get my package? Well, at least I got the previous sale, so didn't pay a lot more than the current offers.

Karen...I absolutely love your travelling Mickey! Where did you get the pictures and how did you do it? I would love to do this!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

How neat Pat! Did I miss that y'all do community theater? That is so cool. Best of luck for the shows!!

Not sure if I've mentioned that before. Dennis and I actually met when we were doing a play. I'm planning to audition for a couple of shows in Spring.

Oh, and we never say "good luck" in the theatre - it's always "break a leg!" ;) We don't mention the Scottish tragedy, either. We're a superstitious lot.

How gorgeous does Juanita look in her little outfit.... I could just keep her :lovestruc

Are the outfits going with you for pirate night? :lmao:

Thank you! She sits next to the light board every night, keeping me company, like a good little theatre dog.

Dennis' outfit is actually his chef wear. Luckily it doubles for pirate wear and packs easily. I might bring my Captain Jack hat if there's room in my luggage.

I'm planning on doing one with Stitch. Just have to find a graphic I like.

Pat - how did I miss that photo....OMG Juanita is so cool :)

Love the travelling magnet Karen, I'm planning on making either a Stitch one or Minnie. :thumbsup2

Pat - I love the outfits and Juanita is just adorable.

Sending my best wishes to Jacqueline today as she is having her surgery. I hope it goes well & a very speedy recovery. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

How about a group called Pirate Party or something like that....

I have taken wine in my checked bags too and always get it. I think DCL has the no bottles in your check in a sort of a disclaimer.. for liability.. if it breaks, they can say it was not allowed to start with and they are off the hook for your wet stained clothes. I wrap mine very well put them in very large zip lock bags so if they break they won't leak so much. I have not had one break yet.

That is lovely Karen , I hope he comes our way!

Thanks Lynne,

Since they were on sale, I bought one of each.

They run big, so much so that I didn't think they had Spandex in them - but checked the tag, yep, 18%. I ordered the size I would for a shirt and there's no clinging. Reviewers on their site say you might order down a size.

we have got Trevor on ours so hopefully he'll be noticed easily

Karen.....Where do you find the "creative board" where they did your picture for your travelling magnet? Is it on Disboards?

If you go to the bottom of this page you'll see a dropdown box that'll say forum jump. The creative board is towards the bottom of the list.

Karen...I absolutely love your travelling Mickey! Where did you get the pictures and how did you do it? I would love to do this!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I got the graphic from someone on the creative board, and put it together on Microsoft word. I'm not too technical when it comes to computers so it's the only way I know how to do it

Sending my best wishes to Jacqueline today as she is having her surgery. I hope it goes well & a very speedy recovery. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I have been thinking about her yesterday and today. I hope all goes well and we hear from her soon.
