Your top WDW tip

I'm a sucker for shows and fireworks... I cry at "wishes" every single time I watch it. Saw Fantasmic for the very first time this year, and it was AMAZING. Definitely don't miss it if you make it over to DHS:lovestruc

If you are celebrating something special (would this be your honeymoon?), make sure to wear your special occasion buttons (or mouse ears if you are adventurous)! I've been on my birthday and on my honeymoon. The Cast Members were extra nice even offering a few perks... such as VIP seating for shows and fireworks, champagne with dinner, discounted photopass card, front of the line for rides...! There is no guarantee of course, but it sure made our trips extra special!

You've picked my favorite moderate resort... you will love it! It is very romantic!

It will be our honeymoon! We are planning to wearthe ears I think (and the badges if they have them) so very excited. We aren't expecting perks, just so excited to be honeymooning at the happiest place on earth!!

If you can do rope drop and then make EMH until 3 a.m., you are -- in my mind -- hard core Disney and will reap the benefits of a line-free park for a couple hours. It's an amazing thing to do, run from ride to ride without waiting.:thumbsup2 Small World, step right up. Peter Pan, can do right now! Buzz Lightyear? Why not? Haunted Mansion? Twice? Don't get out of the Doom Buggy? Done. BTM? Huh? Is that a line of four people? Better do FastPass. You get the idea.

THAT is my Number One Tip.

This post has made me so excited I could cry! We have a pretty
Packed 2 weeks planned, but I think this might have to go on the list! I had no idea they stay open until 3am! (to bad there's no alcohol in MK!) lol.

Head straight to Pangani Forest trail at rope drop- you'll have the trail to yourself, the CMs will talk candidly about the animals (like finding out about unannounced pregnancies) and you get some amazing photos. As soon as you're done get on the first train to Rafiki's and watch a vet procedure

Use your fastpasses they are free. If you get in a bind and can't make the exact time it is ok. Once the first time on the fast pass rolls around you can go at anytime during that day.
When you go into the 3D shows don't push to get in first everyone has to move across and the best view is in the middle.
Get there when the parks first open if you can. you will get alot more done. If things get crazy take a boat ride. A little boat therapy can be calming.:goodvibes

Don't plan for or expect a "perfect" trip. Bumps happen, schedules change and best laid plans sometimes get shot. Plan for an enjoyable trip!

take the boat from por to dtd.
go to por riverside and have a drink while watching bob jackson perform.

If you enjoy a good laugh, Bob Jackson is one of the nicest, lower cost evenings you will have. Arrive earlier if you can to snare a seat.

I love all the Parks tips - but how about a tip for your body...

Drink :drinking1WATER :goodvibes

Your body needs to stay hydrated. Even on a cool WDW day, with walking 2 to 5 miles per day, your body uses it's fluids.

Drink at least 2 bottles of water (16 oz) during a 24 hour period.

:woohoo:You will be happy and so will your body. :woohoo:

to do WDW based on how your family operates. if your house is full of early risers, then by all means - rise & shine. If you all like to sleep in, then unplug the clock. no sense in forcing each day to be something that you aren't.

Go hard for the first two hours after RD. Then, relax.

Spend time at the resort - you're paying for that too!

The boat ride to DTD is an attraction in itself. I don't like DTD much, but always schedule a meal there - just for that boat ride :goodvibes.

Meander through WS at Epcot - take your time and look at the details.

Plan hard, but be flexible once you're there. If everyone's tired, leave and swim at the resort. Remember your purpose - a great vacation. Sometimes laying around the pool keeps the vacation great ;).

So true. Luckily it's just the 2 of us. So getting up shouldn't be too hard. But given that its our honeymoon, I think we will lie in a bit too.

I will second the poster who mentioned...

ready?

...

Dole Whips. Those are a dream. Just pineapple soft serve ice cream, but they are straight from heaven

Comfortable shoes!!! I usually buy a new pair of tennis shoes about a week before I go and make sure they get broken in. Also, be sure to go at your own pace and try not to get everything done!!!

Go to MK at least 2 nights....one to watch the fireworks....the other to ride rides while the fireworks are going on....try to ride Big Thunder MOuntain while the fireworks are going on...it's amazing to have the fireworks going off as you climb the track...did this with my son and it was awesome!!!
