earning my ears? lol

And when that is replaced with a colorful saying/quote, you have been tagged by the Tag Fairy.

Sadly, I have not been tagged.

Now I have one more thing to get on the DIS for!! I can usually find the answers to my questions, but I will start to post to the discussions now!

I don't think I've posted here for years, but I read often... I guess I should earn my ears too.

If there is a fun quote or colored saying under the name it means the poster have been tagged by the "tag fairy" :tinker:

The Tag Fairy is an individual or individuals who browses through the boards tagging people who for one reason or another seem tag-worthy. It doesn't have anything to do with how long you've been on the boards . Well, other than that the more posts you have, the more likely that at least ONE of them has tickled the tag fairy's fancy!

Always learning something on these boards. Thanks for asking the question. Always wondered what earning my ears meant. :surfweb:

I just googled searched this because I was interested in finding out when I would move up and I thought others might be interested too!

:welcome: I have been a Dis'er since Feb 2005. I have asked many questions, answered a few and comment on a wide variety of things - some things are helpful, other things probably not so helpful. I have asked for advice on the Disboards about what to name my children, how to handle in-law situations, overwhelming amounts of laundry, super bowl picks, and of course the many, many Disney related topics.

I have compared my love of Disney and the Disboards to an addiction. I cant think of a better thing to be addicted to - its family friendly, fun, memorable but yet also pricey. However, thanks to the budget board - i have been able to pinch pennies on groceries and other household things to help pay for my next WDW experience. Be-it the Disney Store at the mall or a trip to see the Mouse... You are guaranteed to go through "Dis-drawls" after being on here day in and day out to plan your most exciting WDW trip ever! You will come back months later to get your Disney Fix and then again to gear up for your next Best Disney Trip Ever.

After a while, you will be a Disney Lingo Pro - knowing all the abbreviations and nicknames for all things Disney. From the DDP and ADR's (Disney Dining Plan & Advanced Dining Ressies) to all the names for the WDW Resorts (AKL, PORS, Poly and so on...), MNSSHP, P&PP, and other fun events! You will find friends and co-workers who "share the same affinity for Mouse culture" as you do and will be able to speak in Disney Code (I even have my rough and tumble construction worker husband hooked and in-tuned with the language). You wont be able to get through a conversation with a friend with out dropping an acronym or abbreviation - yet you will be the ones they seek when they have Disney planning questions...

:cloud9:I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Be careful! I used to have a "tag" yet I accidentially deleted it when I was fiddeling with my avatar... I have not been lucky or witty enough to get a new one! :confused3

:disrocks: Enjoy and have tons of fun!! :wizard:

I've been wondering this for a while now and happy to have the answer. Thanks!! Can't wait to be a mousketeer!
