Heather,
I find myself wishing your guerilla band played dinner parties in Tuscany. What a great evening at the Neptune theater.
I agree. What a blast! Your band was crazy great. Love the video. When I read Moisture Festival-- I think of lotion. Surely it refers to rain- right? How did the name come about?
Yes, we must go back and meet the new Pope. I found myself jealous tonight of the couple on HGTV who were married in Tuscany. I'm very seldom really jealous -- but darn it-- I want to be there right now. I'm reading the book that Lauren suggested, which is set in Tuscany. I also got resentful of the young couple buying their first home , married just six months, who were picking at everything and demanding perfection in that first home. I think I'm exhausted from working on a report till midnight last night and again today until 7:30. Must have sleep. Plus the hour that was stolen from me last weekend always takes me a while to adjust.
Heather....there are no other words.....I adore you.
Yes, I do too! I'm not sure I could pull it off though. Heather does find the best stuff.Does anyone else just really want to get ten minutes in Heather's closet? Everything she wears is just cuter than the last thing. I didn't know I wanted a tiered sparkly red skirt until I saw it on the video, and now I must have one. No idea where I would wear it though. I knew I should have bought those polka dot jeans. Note to self: Get more flare in life, STAT!

I could go for that. It would be great fun--- and I NEVER pass up high tea. It sounds like a transformative experience. I think Jack is clutching his wallet about nowYou might be interested to know that there is a free guided shopping tour with every visit to Seattle. Chocolate factory visits also arranged. We have a killer high tea. Our best weather is July 5 - mid September. Just sayin'.

Maybe we should kick off our next adventure with a stop in Seattle...just sayin...
I watched the move The Light in the Piazza on Friday. I had watched it years ago but this was the first time after our trip. It has some great shots of Florence. Nice walk down memory lane. The movie itself is good as well. I would definitely recommend it.
Now I see oodles of flare!
The scrap book pages...the family stories...your odd affection for stingrays....I could go on and on.
Not everyone can or should wear a tiered red sparkly skirt. As an example, the proportions would be wrong on me and I'd look boxy (no pun intended)

I would totally be all over that. Easter egg hunts are the best, and combine that with a scavenger hunt -- well, hey that's even more fun! I love the vinyl prizes too. When I was growing up, we would hide eggs with all my cousins on my Mothers side. It got more fun later on when we got older, and would divide into men's and women's teams. Then the finding got hard. Some might be buried or hoisted up a tree on a string. You just never knew. Then the babies came along and our grown up fun was ended. If Kevin says I have flare, I know it's true! He's always right! In point of fact, Jeri and I ate at Il Mulino at the Swan after hearing the review Kevin and John did. And then then I slid into a food coma. And then I ate dessert because, hello, dessert! Everyone must eat there as soon as possible!
Also, Stingrays are awesome and have cute little faces!
Have signed up with Tracey for Alaska cruise next year and am not even kidding when I say I'm looking into starting off there! Extra adventurers always welcome! E-mail me for the dates! Twist, twist, twist!!!!
So J-bird (don't tell him I called him that! ) and I just got back from our week at the World before what I like to call The Season of Summer Hell starts around here, which lasts until October and is usually about the time I start researching contract killers online, but then we'll take our next trip and I forget about it until the Next Summer From Hell!
Overall it was awesome! We stayed at Beach Club, so I finally got that out of my system. Our room was right on Epcot Resort Drive. I had no idea they moved so many large trucks on that road, but they do, all night long. Awesome! Also they are spraying some strange perfume-y stuff in the lobby *sneeze* It was a nice visit, but I'm thinking my reservations for Beach Club will not be clogging up the system again anytime soon.
We ate waaaay too much, which was fun until my pants stopped fitting and I started wearing previously worn pants because they had already been stretched out. Ewww, or, yeah, everybody does that? We checked out Be Our Guest, and other than John getting sick so John and Kevin couldn't come, and it pouring down rain to the point where we had to buy the ponchos (ripoff) and it being cold, the food itself is awesome! Plus, I fell in love with our waiter, Will, who's very tall and handsome. Who doesn't love a guy with purple knickers on? And he laughed at my jokes, so will love him forever.
There was also an Easter Egg Hunt in Epcot as part of limited time magic. I know some people think the limited time magic is lame-o, but I'm loving what I've done so far. I didn't put it in the layout because sometimes I put things in my layouts and my parents get their feelings hurt and think I'm saying they were bad parents. They weren't bad parents. They were just freaking lazy!!!!
What I would have put in here was this was my first ever Easter Egg Hunt! WWWEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I didn't get an Easter basket until my boyfriend in high school's mom found out I had never had one and made me one up every year until we graduated even after her son and I called it quits!) Since it was my first one Jeri let me find most of the eggs! He's a giver that boy! And I enjoyed it waaay to much.
And here's the layout, sans pathetic parenting story! Please note big cheesy grin!

The cruise to Alaska sounds great. We love Seattle too. We were going this year but life happened so we're not.
I'll pass on the photos. I do love Lauren's though.Did you want me to post the Easter egg hunt photos?
"Life happens" means DD decided to do her Masters in Denver rather than Seattle. I just know if Abby had net Heather, things might have been different.
Now that sounds like an EGG HUNT!!!! Too much fun. Photos always welcome!
Just wanted to pop in real quick to remind everyone that today is most important Doctor Who Stamp Day! I ordered mine at Royal Mail .com/doctorwho. Set up an international account. Looks like its gone through so far!!!!!
