Just because we cannot see it, doesn't mean we can't believe it! LIVE TRIP REPORT!

Did you buy that humongous bag of gummy bears?!!
Looks like your having a great time, the Shamu rocks show looks really good, shame it was the last one.

Hii, I have just been reading through all of your posts and it sounds like your having an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend have our 2 week trip booked for September next year. I can't say I'm not slightly jealous of the way your now FIANCÉ proposed to you as that's the way I'm secretly wishing my boyfriend will propose to me when we go (wishful thinking!) and he doesn't know yet haha bless him!
Looking forward to reading more about your holiday :-)

We have had the most amazing holiday so far! It's been wonderful! And so very magical!

I will keep my fingers crossed for you that he proposes :-) if he does make sure you get and engagement pin and wear it everywhere! The punt of congratulations we have had is lovely and the pictures that have been taken with the characters has been beyond amazing! I can't wait to show you all!! :-D it's been so magical! We don't think we can wait 3 years to go back this time, but at the same time if that's as long as it takes then so be it at least we will be going back at some point :-D

Oh I totally agree, Who knows next time you go back it might be your honeymoon! :-)

Now that would be cool! Although i don't think a wedding will be happening any time soon, as we want to buy a house first :-) then the wedding will come after :-) but hey I don't mind being a fiancé for a while :-)

Sounds good to me :-)

Just a quick question.. Did you have an itinerary?
I am trying to do one but I feel it's so hard as I haven't been before and feel I might just go off how we feel on the day? I don't know?

Nope we had no itinerary what so ever! We just go with the flow and make sure we do everything we want to do! The only set days we had/have were day 1 sea world as its become tradition for us and we booked discovery cove which is tomorrow, but the rest of the holiday we have just played it by ear, see what we fancy either the night before or in the morning! Much prefer it this way! I do however think that if you have revered many breakfasts, lunches or dinners you would need to plan a little bit more around them! We never really book any meals, if we want to do one really bad we often just see if they have a space or not, we've always been quite lucky, despite an often long wait, but that doesn't bother us we just go of and do something whilst waiting! But it just means we don't have to plan our days around where we are going to eat!

Yeah that's exactly what we are going to do because I feel like how can I do an itinerary when I don't know what to expect?
Looking forward to hearing how DC goes as that's one of the main things I can't wait for!

So as I said in my last trip report post we would be heading off to animal kingdom we did :-)

Before we headed out we had breakfast

Only disney can make breakfast bagels so magical! :-)

Then we headed off to animal kingdom, it was lovely, we only went back to see festival of the lion king as we missed it last week! So we arrived about 10:25am missed the first showing of it so went to meet safari Donald! His too funny :-) and then we went into festival of the lion king (which got cancelled, lol just as it was about to start they cancelled it due to technical difficulties), this was actually a blessing in disguise as it gave us the ideal opportunity to meet king Louie and Baloo, and chip and dale! This was a blessing in disguise as we got some amazing pictures taken! We then finally went in to see festival of the lion king :-) as always it was beyond amazing :-) came put smiling from ear to ear heading back to the bus stop!

Here are some pictures that I took at animal kingdom.

A Mickey Ice cream is always a must!

When we got to the buses instead of heading over to Hollywood studios we decided to go back to the hotel for a swim :-) it was lovely as it was sooo sooo hot!
Then we headed over to Hollywood studios in the evening, and we rode tower of terror and rock n roller coaster numerous times then went on to watch fantasmic, which as always it amazed me! i love that show so much, we had perfect seating! After this we headed back to the bus stop and come back to our room for some much needed sleep!

Yesterday we started at Hollywood studios it was fairly quite in the morning and we headed straight for Star Wars and then into the great movie ride :-)

After these rides we had some pictures with daisy and Donald who were hilarious! Daisy noticed the just engaged pin grabbed my hand and pulled me over to Donald hinting to him that she would really really like a ring on her finger to, to which Donald held his hand up and walked away nodding his head lol! Such amazing memories! This engagement has to be up there with one of the most amazing! The amount of amazing pictures I have! Lol at this rate I can create an engagement album! :-D

We then met chip and dale again! I have to meet these at every opportunity as they always have me in stitches!

Following this we headed over to you story mania

I won the first game and my mum won the second game! My fiancé was a grumpy bear haha! Much to mine and my mums amusement!
He says we cheated! (Sore loser springs to mind)

We then decided to have a great me and mum had the fruit covered chocolate and Kev had fudge!

Following this we went on a few more rides And had some pictures with Mickey then we decided to leave and head over to Epcot for the rest of the day!

It really was a beautiful day

We headed over to the world show case and saw Duffy! Who again made some magical moments he saw my ring looked at Kev and nodded his head saying no pointing to me then pointing to himself and hugging me, then dancing with me and not letting me go! Haha someone (Kev got jealous) made us all laugh lots!

After this we decided It was Time we escaped the heat!! So we headed over to the Chinese restaurant which was Devine!!

We had these non alcoholic cocktails strawberry, and strawberry and mango! They were delicious.

Then we had 2 starters chicken in a French onion dressing and spicy beef which we shared!

Both were super yummy!

Our mains (me and Kev had the same, honey sesame chicken with vegetable fried rice)

Just looking at that picture makes my mouth water it was sooo sooo good!

My mum had sweet and sour pork with steamed white rice.

I can honestly not recommend this place enough! If you like Chinese it's a must!!

After eating we continued to venture around the world! Bought some bits along the way and stopped to get this stuff!

It's so good! I was recommend to try this! And boy am I glad I did, I may just have to pop back in to get some more before we go home!

Once we got round to England we had a pear cider each :-) it was so nice and refreshing! Then we went into one of the shops in England and there happened to be a short queue for pooh and tigger as they had gone for a break, well before we knew it they were back out! But one problem the photographers camera was not working!

It was the cutest moment! Pooh got my mum to cover her eyes and he put me and Kev next to her, then pooh stood besides my mum and covered his eyes, whilst tigger stood next to us and covered his eyes, then we were asked to kiss! The line of people clapped, cheered And said awwww! Again another magical!

Good job I had my phone on me as it was all caught on my camera!

This picture actually melts my heart it's the cutest!

After this we did living with the land, soarin, And nemo, we then headed over to test track to ride that, after that we got a drink and found ourselves a good spot for the fireworks! I love these Fireworks and enjoyed them just as much as ever! We then headed home and went to sleep ready for discovery cove in the morning!

Today we went to discovery cove! The sun was shining, it was a beautiful morning, we got there bright and early and they had opened the doors by 7:15 when we arrived! We got an 8:10am swim, so we went and got our wet suits right away! They are beastly, and so hard to get on and off!! But it did cause fits of laughter between all 3 of us!
we then had some breakfast and headed over the the cabana for a training video before our dolphin swim after the video we headed straight into the water! Which is freezing.......initially! We were all making some unusual noises! Our bodies adjusted to the water temperatures in no more than 2 mins! As soon as we were in Sasha the dolphin was brought over the us we stroked her, did hand signals to make her sing, fund out some really interesting facts saw her jump in the water, and we all had a picture of us kissing her & stroking her individually then one of us all together with her! We also got a fabulous group picture of us hand signalling for her to lift her self out of the water to which she did and it was he lost amazing picture! Each family in our group did something different!

We then had the opportunity to swim with the dolphins me and my mum chose the shallow water which was just as long as the deep water and was still up to our shoulders deep! We got pulled back to shore one by one! Sasha decided she didn't want to do it anymore so they called on dexter to come and play! So we then got some interaction with dexter to! After dexter they asked if we wanted to meet another dolphin! Of course we all said yes! So along came dexters brother hutch! Boy were we lucky! We spent a while with each one played games with them, made them sing, heard them pretend to cry, gave them all tummy rubs, saw them jumping, waving, splashing us with there tails! It truly was an amazing experience and one I will never forget!

Even the photographer commented on how lucky we where and he said "boy you got a long experience today guys" I guess most people don't get to meet 3 dolphins and they don't get so long! We were in the water for at least 45-50mins maybe longer?! Don't know how long is normal though!

We bought the ultimate photo package! $286 a beautiful thing to take away and well worth the money it cost I'd recommend anyone get this! Our poster is so amazing!

Here are a couple of our pics!

After this we had a wander got a couple of drinks and a packet of crisps then headed over to do sea venture! This is beyond amazing I can honestly say this was as good as the dolphin swim! It's a pretty awesome experience! And anyone can do this In The respect that its just like breathing normally yet your under water so weird but so amazing, and I know many people who can't do scuba diving! (Including my mum) but she did nothing but rave about it all day! If we are ever lucky enough to go again! This would be a must do!

The coral reef! Cold but again you adjust super quickly to the temperature and its amazing the rays rub against your legs you can reach out and stroke them, schools of fish swim around you! And nothing can prepare you for how big the rays actually are!! This gets deep In places so watch where your going if your not a strong swimmer!

The lazy river is warm/hot, it's very relaxing but gets deep at times! If your not a strong swimmer use a noodle that they provide or a life jacket which they provide, I loved it as I used the free snorkel and just swam around! I don't mind going in deep water if I have a snorkel! As I can breath and don't need to tread the water!

The food and drink was lovely all day! The frozen drinks were lovely and many people made use of the free ice creams! I just drank frozen minute maid lemonade most of the day!

The bird aviary was fantastic and the birds land on your arms, shoulders, head etc its great fun!

We did have a storm today at around 3pm where they got everyone out of the water and off of the sand, this lasted for an hour then from 4-5 we could go back in the pools only but not in the lazy rivers! At 5:00pm another storm arrived so they got everyone out of the water again! Most people at this point got changed this time and and left as the park closes at 5:30pm anyway! The storms didn't spoil out day at all! And it was by far one of the best days ever and I could never come back to Orlando without going here again!

The only downside is that they have so many hidden dips and raises in the pools, we all fell over and hurt out toes and feet numerous times today! They also have raised sides on most paths! My mum broke her toe! She's soldering on though! Don't know how as it looks super painful!

Ouch is all I can say!

Once back at the hotel we were going to go it but we decide to just chill out and reminisce over today it was so good! My mum and Kev decided to take a walk down to the food court whilst I stayed in the room to update on here! (See if she can do the walk with a broken toe then the walk really can't be that bad). Proof that people make a fuss over nothing and the walk really is not that bad or that long!

Look what they came back to the room with!

Wonderful updates
You are obviously all having an amazing time :goodvibes
We went to Discovery Cove about 5 years ago ..... You've made me think it's time to go back :thumbsup2

I love reading your posts. I'm so excited, we fly tomorrow!

Soooo lucky your first full day will be the day we say bye to disney! :-( sad sad times! But I've had the best time ever so I shouldn't really be said as ill have some of the best memories to look back on for the rest of my life :-) and they'll make me smile :-)

This is so true - we've been looking through our honeymoon scrapbook album and photo book today and it brings back fantastic memories :cloud9:

Oh, thank you so much for all the info and pictures on Discovery Cove. I have been looking at adding this to our Christmas trip over the last few days and checking out prices. I was chatting to someone the other day who proposed to his girlfriend there a few months back (the dolphin swam over with a buoy in it's mouth with the ring inside) and he said it was everyone's favourite day/park of the entire trip.

Your report helped no end and the pictures are amazing and have made me decide that I am going to add this as a surprise for my daughters. I think I'll book it for Boxing day and give it to them as a Christmas present as we already have plans for Christmas Day and I think it's already booked. The only problem is that either myself or my husband will miss out on the dolphin swim as we'll have to stay with the baby which is a shame.

I also have the most accident prone family in the world so I think I'll be making them wear beach shoes after your experience!! Did you wear beach shoes? If so, did your mum still break her toe with them on? Poor thing, but what a star carrying on. If there is one place you probably don't want to be with a broken toe it's Orlando with all the walking you do!!

Looking forward to reading more.

Just seen the last few posts and realised you're coming home in a few days, oh no, I've loved following your holiday, it's flown by, but you really do have the most amazing memories don't you and by the sound of it you've got some exciting times ahead to focus on, buying a home together and planning a wedding. Good luck with it all, you look such a lovely couple, wish you nothing but the best.
