Just stumbled onto your trip report, can not wait to read it! Reading others reports, help to speed the waiting time before our next trip! Thanks for taking the time to write your report.

:welcome: thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoy it. The reports sure do help to speed up the time to your own next trip.

I've had nose issues...but I think it is sinuses. I'll ask the doctor in May if it continues.
I think there is some sort of new plague cold going around that once you get it you can't get rid of it lol. Hope you feel better soon.

Andy has great taste in my gifts.
Definately. It's good when they can take hints that you love Disney stuff as well... My family failed to do that until recently. I think they were determined to make me "grow up" by giving me "grown up presents" they failed though :rotfl2:

I do know that one year he was moved but don't remember why.
I think they had moved it because the Christmas season was on the last time we were there or something I don't know. I've never found him though :(

I LOVED the Witches of Eastwick movie. That should really be fun.
At the moment we're learning the songs and bits of dances. That's fun but the real fun starts when the whole cast come together. The three witches they picked are three of the towns best singers so I actually cannot wait to hear them sing some of the trios. Ach it's going to be amazing!

I did an update on my trip report btw. I think the new disboards aren't showing people stuff like that anymore. I still have to find the rest of the reports I was following before :confused3

My family gave up on that long ago1

Or they could have been painting it or something. I hope you see it one day soon.

I'll look forward to updates on it.

I will get to it in the next day or two. I have to finish doing replies on my PTR and I want to do the recap on my TR. Then I'm back to catching up everywhere again.

Well, let's wrap this puppy up. I don't think it has ever taken me five months to write a TR. But I know those who have been with me a good part of this TR know things were a bit rough in November with my mom getting really sick, my brother in the hospital and Mark and splitting our time taking care of mom and then mom's passing. Today actually would have been Mom's 84th birthday.

I'm not going to say a lot, but rather post some of my favorite pictures from the trip.

It really was a great trip all around (except for Nicki losing her grandma and having to leave while we were at Marco). I will list the highlights. I actually have NO lowlights to post (well except for all the rain).

Highlights of this trip, in NO particular order:

1) FINALLY meeting Tim and his family (that's nice here on the DIS) after all of our years of "internet" friendship)
2) Seeing the awesome Cynthia again and meeting her delightful husband
3) Meeting Wendy and Johnny
4) Meeting Jen, Erika and family, and Laura and a few other DISer's as well
5) Food & Wine...why did we wait so long?????
6) Airboat Tour and Gator Boy Chris
7) Beautiful weather for the most part on Marco Island

And here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip (again, in no order)

This next one is a video

Continued in next post

Thank each and every one of you for sticking with me, for all your support last year with my mom, etc. I know you've heard me say it before, but I'll say it again...DIS friends are the best.
If you haven't joined in, I do have a PTR going on for the first of my three trips this year and hope you will join me. I hope this link works:

What a great trip Kathy! Your photos are great, there is such a great sweet warmth in them all.:grouphug:

I've so enjoyed getting to know you and Mark and your family through this wonderful TR; I'm sad it's over.

BUT I'm glad to see you will be taking so many wonderful trips in 2015 and I will be here to follow them all!:mickeyjum

Wow Kathy. First, in a way I have to chuckle a bit at it taking five whole months to complete. I know that may be unusual for you, but in my book that is actualy very quick and efficient. I don't think I've ever completed a TR in under 8 months, and usually longer, lol. I know many others are in the same boat. Add in all the rough times you had, and I'd say five months is really really impressive.

YES, the rain deserves a HUGE lowlight shoutout.

Of course I super love your very first highlight. Meeting DISers for the first time, especially those where you already have a deep connection is incomparable. And I have to add your 1 through 4 are all DISmeets, which makes me super happy. Still sad I wasn't one of them. :(

Aw yay, Tigger in the UK. What a fabulous meet he is.

What a fabulous collection of pictures. Seeing them all together, what a great treat. A special shoutout for the Pirates swordfight. That location (and act) has a very very special meaning to me.

Finally... :thanks: for sharing your wonderful trip with us. I am so glad I finally joined in on one and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thank you very much for writing this TR and for sticking with it. I know it was often a tough time for you so hopefully writing this helped you escape things a bit

Those are some great photos - especially some of the ride photos - and so great how many meets you had!

Hopefully all of your trips this year will be at least as enjoyable as this one :goodvibes

OY!!!! So, I finally made it back...just in time for the recap. :sad2: What an awesome recap, though. I can totally see why those photos made it to the "favorites". Those are simply fantastic, filled with pure joy, magic, and wonderful friends. Well, you two are always traveling...so I will stick around here and wait for another PTR or TR link to pop up!:surfweb:

Thank you so much. You are so very sweet.

And I've enjoyed getting to know you and your little princess.

I'm so very happy that you are going to stick around for more.

Thanks, Rob. I know one person (I won't mention any names :lmao:) who took over a year to do his. I like to get them wrapped up in 3 - 4 months if I can becasue at my age, I tend to start forgetting things. ;)

YES, the rain deserves a HUGE lowlight shoutout.

It really did. But the rest of the trip was so great that I didn't want to "highlight" one "lowlight."

Thanks; and I am really hopeful that you and I are going to rectify that DISmeet this year.

This is my favorite place to see him.

Thanks, Rob. I appreciate it.

Thanks for sticking with me, Phil. It did help to write the TR.

Those are some great photos - especially some of the ride photos - and so great how many meets you had!

I love my DIS meets, and I've already got quite a few planned for the trips this year. :)

Hopefully all of your trips this year will be at least as enjoyable as this one :goodvibes

I certainly hope so...because this one was great.

Connie, it's so good to see you. Thank you. It really was a magical trip filled with lots of wonderful memories and wonderful DIS meets. There is a link in my signature with the first PTR for the first of three trips this year.

Great wrap up and pictures!! What a great trip. Can't wait to catch up with the plans for your upcoming trips

You had some great highlights on this trip ... and some amazing photos!

I really enjoyed reading along with your TR, and I'm glad I decided to read it and got the opportunity to read all about your adventure and to start to get to know you and Mark. I'm looking forward to reading more PTRs and TRs from you in the future (in fact, I'm headed over to read the update on your PTR right now!)

I think my favorite thing was Gator Boy Chris! :sail: Wowsa! :rotfl2:

But on a serious note - great TR. I really enjoyed every minute of it. You had a bunch of fabulous DIS meets. I actually forgot there were so many.

Love all the recap pictures.

Great job!

What a wonderful trip! I love the balloon tradition. What an awesome way to honor your father's memory and spread a little pixiedust:

Hi Kathy! I finally made it over here. Your last MK day was so sweet. I'm glad you got to see Nikki, even if it wasn't very much. I remember when her Grandma passed. So sad. Yikes! The Gator guy looks like he might lose his head. :scared:
You got a lot of great pics - I'm glad you found them!
