Since I started going through this process, I have been amazed at the contracts that pass and those that get taken. While I would have expected the cheaper contracts to be the ones taken, that doesn't always hold true.

There are very specific things they look for. Unit numbers are probably the most important factor after obviously price. They also tend to stay away from anything involving courts (bankruptcies, divorce, power of attorney, etc.) :)

I sure hope that's true! It's now been 22 days since submitting our bankruptcy listing for AKL. I'm starting to get extremely nervous after seeing all these other listings get taken. Hopefully we'll hear something soon. :scared:

How do you know if it's a bancruptcy listing (or a divorce/forecloser/etc) when you are the buyer?
