I am overwhelmingly stunned by the pricing I am seeing. The Alaska prices, for a 9-night, are double what we paid for a 7-night PLUS land portion in 2012 on HAL. And we were three adults. The British Isles prices are several thousand more for 2 adults than we paid for 3 adults! And those prices are mostly for oceanview rooms, whereas we had a verandah. People need to stop paying these ridiculous prices before Disney will get the message. Maybe if they start having half empty ships they may get the idea. I feel like we will never be able to afford to sail Disney again -- and not be able to make use of our Platinum status.

Looking at the prices being posted -- you almost feel like you're being punked because it just seems impossible that they could be for real!

Welcome to the Club! I already posted these quotes in the pricing thread. Keep in mind these are for the 'typical' sized family, 2 adults and 2 kids. I called earlier, was on hold for 45 minutes, got through and received the following price quotes:

Can I ask if there is anybody here who uses Dreams Unlimited, who is still waiting for confirmation of their booking? My TA sent me a note to say she is out of town but somebody would be booking on her behalf, although she didn't mention the name. Still no confirmation and no booking showing up on DCL website yet I know of others who are already seeing their bookings on DCL.

Just received mine and it is insane for the 11-night Southern Carib. No way will we be keeping that.

Just received mine and it is insane for the 11-night Southern Carib. No way will we be keeping that.

My wife booked through Costco this morning. I just posted an update on the Opening Day Pricing thread. However, I may also look at Adventure of the Seas instead.

Since I couldn't get through I did some pricing on RCCL on their website just to compare:

I can get 2A/1C (age 14) in a Junior Suite on Liberty of the seas August 20th out of Galveston 7-night Western Caribbean for $5506 Canadian (plus 190 obc)

Same party in a Superior Ocean View with Balcony on Allure of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale August 27th 7-night Eastern Caribbean for $4318 Canadian (plus 190 obc)

I can't speak for your TA's specifically, but I know that many TAs who do a lot of DCL bookings will get all the bookings done for all clients before sending out confirmation emails in the late afternoon. Good luck!

Thanks, I am just thinking I would at least be able to see it on the DCL website and I am still only seeing my placeholders. Maybe I'm worrying for nothing. With my agent being out of town, I guess I am just concerned that we might have lost our gold booking advantage.

You can't book online today, only by phone

when did it change from being able to book online first day for CC members...I would always go online and phone at the same time....live in Cali and usually up at 5am to start calling and online for my booking on first day of booking for CC....I don't know maybe Im just fickle today there is only a 12 minute wait...thats good...and I get to listen to Disney music...life is good

Anyone looking to book or booked the SanDiego port? I live in SD so nice and easy...plus that summer we are looking to go to Aulani for 10 days...

ok sooooo the Baja cruises went UP and 11C is all gone for all their cruises....no need for anything else for a 2 or 5 day cruise......so here is the scoop: these are the cheapest that are left at this time....he said that they went in the first hr or so....Wanted 11C because well been to Mexico sooo many times and going to Aulani in June so thought it would just be a nice send off....did not book yet still deciding if DC or just DL....will decide in about an hr or so at least to book either the 2 or 3 days to have them hold on to it and keep checking back to see if a 11C opens back up

seems many of us are disappointed in the prices for the cruises this year...guess they need to pay for the 2 new ships they are building.....IMO there is no need to have the prices expand as much as they have this year....I can afford the cruises but really makes me think twice about where I could use all that $$$$ for a one week cruise....I love DCL but may just start using my cash on a different line....my boys are 19 and 22 and love DCL as well....but I bet if i said instead of the cruise here is $2,000+ for your pocket...what do you think they would say lol.....we are Gold next cruise Platinum and DVC members so Disney is in our blood....but UGH!
