Bridging Parksavers tickets to AP - is this correct?

Boardwalk Ticketing is back up! Customer service was GREAT and prompt with a response. You can now go to their website and get a 7 day ticket hopper for the price of a 4 day!

I should add that I posted about finding Boardwalk Ticketing on the Touring Plans ticket price finder and I posted asking about its legitimacy here. Len Testa responded that the person who runs it used to be with ParkSavers and branched off. He said he wouldn't have used it on his site unless it was legit. Lemme see if I can find that post. (I ordered today and had confirmation quickly. I also asked them a few questions through their messenger system and responses were quick, helpful and polite.) I don't plan on using them until 2017 and the choice to choose a date extended into 2018 even though that is not a big deal if you plan to link to magic bands.

Can you upgrade from a ticket with MORE features (waterparks and more) to a ticket with LESS features, but costs more (DVC AP Gold)?
If so, does it matter if you have used the ticket to enter a THEME PARK?
I assume if you used one of the water park entitlements, you could only upgrade to platinum?

FYI I saw today that Boardwalk ticketing has the 7 day ph for $379 and change, which is about $10 less than what is was.

Yes as long as you DO NOT use a feature the ticket you want to upgrade to doesn't include (ie a WPF&M)

Right, you can upgrade a WP+ ticket to the AP without WP but only if you haven't used a WP+ entitlement.

What change? Their price hasn't change it has been $10 less than Park Saver from the begin...

I was under the assumption it was the same as parksavers. There's been a few threads where it was mentioned that the boardwalk price was the same as parksavers. I'll admit, I never looked until today so I wouldn't know either way but I thought this was a new price.

So went to the park savers site and the 7 day ticket is there for 394.46

If I buy this and use it to enter epcot on December 31 can I then use the next day to upgrade to a new florida resident silver pass on January 1 thus saving about 70 bucks plus getting into epcot on New Years eve ???

Yes

Yes, but I believe that January 1 & 2 are also blocked out on the Silver pass, so if you want to get in those days, I'd postpone the upgrade a little longer if possible.

We have a room at the beach club but only for one night so we will leave Sunday.
If we do this we can get into epcot on a night we are usually blacked out and save about 70 each on our silver passes.
How long will theses tickets on park savers be for sale ??

This question has been discussed earlier in the thread.
There is no final answer.
It may end as early as today (July 31,) or be continued for an indeterminate length of time.

Bottom line: If you want the deal, don't hesitate.

Actually a 7 day hopper is 467.54 but the florida silver pass is 414.29
Will they refund us ??

Officially, no refunds.
(A ticket that is less expensive to purchase than the one owned is not considered an "upgrade.")

However, they will occasionally offer a bit of Pixie Dust, and give the guest the difference on a Disney gift card.

(Don't "expect" that to happen, but it never hurts to ask, ever so nicely.)

Perhaps we should not risk it.
That eats up most of the "savings" and I do not need the next level up (gold) because we never go in the summer.
Last year we just bought a one day ticket for New Years eve but that expensive too
