Hello! I think the title of this thread pretty much sums up my question. Taking the tour in early August and am curious where the lunch location has been lately. Please feel free to chime in with your thoughts on the tour. Thanks in advance!

Tomorrowland Terrace during the 1st week of March.

Pre-ordered a hamburger at start of tour.

It was stone cold when we sat down to eat.

Tomorrowland Terrace, end of April. The chicken on the Caesar salad was inedible, and the salad itself was not much better. Drinks were in bottles with no cups of ice.

The tour itself was interesting and was worth the investment of time and money. The lunch, however, was inexcusably bad.

Tomorrowland Terrace.

Pre-ordered the corn dog nuggets from Casey's.

So you were able to order food from Casey's even though you ate at Tomorrowland Terrace? Knowing you were able to get corn dog nuggets just made my day! I LOVE them, they are a Disney tradition for me, and I can't stand Tomorrowland Terrace food.

@seelyt2 - I'll be doing KTTK on Tuesday next week. I'll come back and update our food options when I get back.

Thank you, everyone. This is good to know. With any luck we'll get Columbia Harbour House, but I won't count on it. I appreciate your responses.:thanks:

Yes, they are on the menu you're provided before the tour starts. Lunch is simply served on the terrace. It's not Tomorrowland Terrace food.

I agree. Corn dog nuggets are a must every trip.

June 28th last year. Lunch was at Columbia Harbor House. Had the lighthouse sandwich and it was much better than I expected.

The tour is great, at least ours was. I've heard that it sometimes depends on the tour guide that you get. I would say though that doing KTTK is a must for any avowed Disnerd.

We were looking to do it in August also and was wondering about lunch - thanks for this thread. So there are only 4 times that they start it between 8am and 9:30am?

December was tomorrowland terrace. It was very blegh. I was expecting CHH so it was definitely a let down!

I think CHH is by far the best CS restaurant in MK, so anything else would be a let down. Rather than eat cold/lousy food I think I'd peel off from the group and get something else. I understand the lunch is included in the tour package but they can't make you eat it.;)

Basically, yes. You check in at Town Square Theatre. Groups launch on their tour about every 30 minutes to spread them apart, so they aren't running into one another on the tour. Personally, I signed up for the 8am tour to get started early.

Great - thank you so much.

We're hoping to do this tour in December and I hope CHH is offered instead of Tomorrowland Terrace/

Just a little side question, those who ate at the terrace what was your start time, and those that ate at CHH what was your start time, maybe that is the difference.

We're doing KTTK in Sept with the 8am tour. I'm excited but freaked about getting there early enough, we're staying onsite, (Check in is 7:45am) & worried my very picky DH will not like/eat whatever they offer for lunch. I plan on bringing a couple bags of chips in our backpack. A hungry DH is a grumpy DH, which equals an unhappy DW. Still really excited & can't wait for the tour & our trip. The first trip without kids since 1990!
