You should!
Back in the day when I was in elementary school I always carried roll on glitter with me
When we started going to Disney I thought it would be fun to get some to use when I went to the parks, but I couldn't find it anywhere anymore. When I went to Claires looking for roll on or spray glitter my younger sister said she'd never heard of that and acted like I was crazy.
Yes I think the universe has told me I now need to carry glitter with me everywhere.
And yes I remember those roll on glitter things. I can't find them either! They have some on
amazon but I don't think they are the right ones - like the ones I remember as a kid.
I love the Mulan dress it's really cute!
It is! She was the perfect Mulan princess!
Su-Lynn, I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your last month. But I'm so happy to hear that your dad is doing so much better. I had no idea. I deactivated Facebook several months ago and - EEECK! - I realized I'm somehow not following your December TR?!?!?!
But lots of thoughts are with you and your family and sending good vibes for a continued and speedy recovery. Please continue to let us know how your dad is doing.
Hi Tracy! It's great to see you back again! Thank you so much for your words of support. I honestly haven't posted too much on facebook about it only because I have all my extended family there and I don't want them to worry too much. He is doing better this week and continues to get strongerday by day! Thank you so much and I'll be sure to update everyone shortly on my dad's progress.
What a great start to your day at MK... and the various other places everyone was that day
The girls looked so darn cute! And perhaps you missed your own calling to work at BBB!
Thank you! It was a fun start getting everyone into Princess mode! And I will consider BBB as a backup plan! At least I'll get to live close to my happy palce!
I also don't understand this.
Apparently the universe believes I need to carry glitter around with me at all times. I will rectify that immediately!
This is so beautiful! I remember seeing it - I imagine on
@MeghanEmily's TR? It's incredible! She's super talented.
Thanks!! She is super talented!
You are lucky to have such a wonderful extended family! Positive thoughts for your father.
Thank you so much! He is indeed getting better day by day, so thank you!
That airport experience sounds simply awful
Yes. It was.
Glad it is over.
Aw, I'm so sorry about your dad and that you and your family have to go through this. My favorite Uncle (my mom's baby brother passed away 4 years ago after open-heart surgery, and my dear niece (31 at the time) passed 3 years ago after a long battle with Lupus. There is nothing worse than seeing someone you love in pain and not being able to do anything for them. Praying that he continues to recover and get stronger and healthier
Aww I'm so sorry for your losses. It is so hard. My friend Kelly (the one in my TR) - she just lost her dad late last year. It was very very hard for her family too.
Thank you so much for the support and kind words. I hope to post an update at the end of the week!
thank you!
Beautiful girls! They are lucky to have you in their lives
Aww thanks!
Lucky! I still have never met Gaston!
He's hilarious! You should definitely check him out on the next trip!
Great pic and that card is amazing! So uncanny how it looks just like them!
thanks! It like the card was meant to be...Disney magic for ya!
Happy to hear that your dad is feeling better. You’ll be in my thoughts, hoping for even more improvement after this treatment.
Thank you so much for the support and encouragement! We really appreciate it!
What a fun update. All the girls look so beautiful. You did a great job with your makeover - although you better get some glitter to keep in your makeup bag! I love seeing the princess makeovers at BBB - and the pirates ones too. I wish they’d had these when I was a kid!! I do often wonder about those costumes on hot days.
Thank you! And yes, glitter must be carried at all times, Got it!
I was so excited to see the BBB makeovers. They looked so cute! But yes, so dang hot, that Sophie and Mimi ended up changing out when they weren't taking pictures and then they would throw on the dress when they met princesses.
And speaking of outfits, you and Chunky Sis are on point again!!! Love both looks. Is yours a dress?
Thank you! Mine is actually tank top from hot topic paired with a skort from Sparkle Skirts. I love them and I live in them while at Disney!
Wow, wow, wow to the card your sister made. That’s gorgeous. I wish I was creative as well as organized and thoughtful enough to think about getting one and packing it.
Thank you! I knew I wanted to do something special for them so I thought just a simple card would do, but Chunkysis really hit one out of the park with this design.
Lots of peoplemover love here too. I was just jonesing to ride it the other day. Although... confession... I get a little nervous in the pitch black part.
I miss it so much! I was just reminiscing about it the other day...sigh. My Disney ban this year is not going to hold out...I've already booked for Labor Day week! LOL.
The pitch black part is the "thrill" part of the ride!
Looking forward to hearing about CRT. Glad that reliving the trip can be a distraction for you now. Take the time you need to, to focus on what’s important.
Thank you!! It's been fun to get back into writing and reliving the memories from such a happy trip.
Hi Su-Lynn! I was so sorry to read about your dad. I'm glad he's on the mend. It's wonderful that you and your family is able to take turns to be with him.
I know how difficult it can be when one of your parents is sick. A few years ago, my dad had cancer that spread to his liver, which resulted in a liver transplant. It was a very difficult time for my family. Thank goodness my dad was able to heal, and he's back in Florida golfing all winter looooong...
Thank you Jenny! I really appreciate it. Wow, what a journey you dad had. I'm so glad he's healed and golfing again! It gives us hope!
I'm sure it was very difficult for your family. Cancer sucks!
Wow what a rough start to the year (even with what sounds like a good family trip). Glad to hear your dad is on the mend.
thank you! Yeah I'm Glad January is behind us, and February has been much better!
Gorgeous card your sister made! And I love love her dress!
Your nieces are simply adorable.
Thank you!! Her dress is from Torrid I think!
Thank you!
There are only a few people I really follow for TR- and I love these threads with the welcoming and supportive Disney family here. Hope February treats you and your family much better
Thank you so much! And yes February has been so much better so far! He's hope it continues in the upward trend! I love the Disboards for taking me to my happy place each time I am here.
Oh my, what a rough start to the year! You're lucky to have such a large family and support system as is your father. I hope he heals quickly.
Thank you so much! We hope so too. So far, he seems to be in better spirits. He can't wait to come home!
The young ladies look so nice with their little makeovers, and you did a great job with your auntie makeover!
Thank you! I did want to be a makeup artist a long time ago!
I am so sorry about your dad. It sucks getting old...us kids getting old that is!
Thank you...yeah getting old sucks!! Boo!
I am yearning to be sweating right now even though it is fairly mild and rainy in CT but my feet are cold and I am under covers...oh Disney in August with my hair up can’t come soon enough!
I know, we always want what we don't have! But the heat was pretty brutal. I'm not sure I can take it again...although we are booked for Labor Day week now and that will be equally if not more sweltering!
Good job on the makeover! My oldest lost a tooth while we were in Disney so I went up to the Poly desk and asked if they had any confetti or tinkerbelle things and they so nicely gave me tinkerbelle pins. I don’t think they wanted me to put confetti in our room...I wonder if the desk had glitter? Next time!
Haha perhaps the desk had some pixie dust?!? Will find out. They seem to have everything! How nice they gave you tinkerbell pins!!
She looks perfect and how fun for you. BBB is certainly fun for the kiddos but when it comes down to it they just want someone to daut on them and make them feel special. The girls are certainly luck to have such a great fairy god auntie!
Thank you!! It was actually quite fun.
They look great! Finger crossed for Mulan.
I'm really shocked chunky sis didn't opt into BBB herself. I can totally see her with the bun, sash, and all.
Oh but she did ASK about it, but there is an age limit. I think you can get pixie dusted at any age though.
What a great picture of you all!
thank you!
I remember seeing this in Megan's trip report. It is way too perfect and precious Which sister made it? Whomever has some serious talent.
It's all Chunkysis's handiwork! She's the only crafty one in the family! I don't know how she does it! She has an entire basement set up for her cards. All the gadgets, stamps, paints, cricutters etc...
