Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

I had the castle until 7:07 am EST, when I finally got in to MDE.. but it was showing I had no park tickets. Tried to refresh til 7:19.. gave up and set my phone down to take a quick shower, got out. My tickets are back.. i’m not being kicked out of MDE and can go to pages without error but can’t find any way of accessing park registration.
also: only attempted from browser on phone cause previous experience has taught me more issues when attempting to log in to the same account from multiple platforms.

I got through to reservations and was told they can not modify or cancel anything until June 24th and that since my resort won’t be open I would have to pay the difference to change to another.

I think the CM who told you that was wrong. If your resort won't be open, they will almost certainly move you somewhere else that is open without making you pay the difference. You just probably won't get to choose where they put you (if you want a specific resort, you'll likely have to pay the difference in that case). I'd give it a day or two and then call back. Clearly Disney didn't do an adequate job or preparing for this, and none of the CMs know what's going on right now (at no fault of their own).

Everyone is effectively DDoS’ing the system. The more browsers refreshing the worse it becomes. Using four devices hoping to get through is like sending 3 friends into different park entry lines to see who gets in first. But if everyone does this the line grows exponentially.

I have to admit I expected this - 90s computer technology and waaayyyy too many of us on multiple devices AND a new reservation system???? So we shall sit and wait.
This should be a scene in Spaceship Earth...before they update it...

Our last trip I had a meltdown because a lot of complaining was happening and I could not believe it based on the amount of work * I KNOW * I put into it. These spoiled people who get their trips planned for them think its just all easy breezy!

The first time I took my In Laws, and it was my twins first trip when they were 18 months old, we sat down for our first dinner...at O'hana's, and my MIL says, "Oh, look there's some fireworks." You have no flipping idea how much work it was to get Ohanas at the right time. Yes, yes, there's some fireworks.

Where are we supposed to look once in MDE? I see people talking about a Park Reservation link? I don't see that.
