Resort Change by Disney

I just got through to GS and I'm on hold with them for the 2nd time because he's going through my resort modification history. I made this reservation back in April, added on a night on the same day, and he's "looking into" and "trying to make sense" of the modifications, even asking if I added that day yesterday when I clearly didn't... It's a whole mess. Stay tuned for the continuation of my saga!
 
Hi all! So happy to see all these success stories on here- if you haven't gotten through yet, just keep trying! Also, just wanna say I love how positive of an environment this is- most of my friends would roll their eyes at me being on hold with Disney for 5 hours LOL but everyone has been so supportive of each other through all this and its really nice to see! At the end of the day these really are first-world problems but still, nice to have a community to confide in and cheer each other on when the going gets tough!
 
Does anyone know what the website address is for doing a survey? I stayed online after the CM helped me thinking it would automatically connect me but a recording came on saying to go to a website. I didn't catch her name and hope they know who she is from MDE. She was wonderful!

I'm going to let disney cancel our reservation. 6 hours yesterday 4 hours today and when the two agents transferred in the 3 way call. they hung up. I can't do this anymore

Yesterday I got through on 1407wdisney, I called that number and the reservation line 500+ times before I even got through. Just keep trying and you'll get it!
 
I feel your pain about cancelling, honestly if we didn't have points rented, I would consider cancelling at this point too-
 
What number are folks calling and getting through? I keep trying 407-939-4357 and getting "all circuits are busy now."
 
Trust me I know it is frustrating but just keep trying!! After being on hold for 8 hrs yesterday with no resolution and on hold this morning for 2 hrs, thanks to the amazing people on this board I called the 7866#. Yes I had to call over 50 times, but once I got through someone picked up almost immediately and was able to change us from AKL to CR for our trip in 3 weeks.
 
I just called the TA line. It's for my personal reservation for July. You can't even get into the hold queue!! They just say they have closed the phone line for now :crazy2:

I wasn't able to call yesterday because we had family visiting for literally one full day and that was yesterday so wasn't gonna sit on the phone all day.
 
Done!! **Happy dance** Originally, I had 2 rooms at GF (garden view outer building) July 18-26. I was asked if I was fine moving to a villa, of course I am. She gave me options of BayLake 2bdrm, Kidani 2bdrm, Boulder Ridge 2bdrm, Copper Creek 2bdrm, TreeHouse, and Riviera 2bdrm pref view.

I took Riviera, mainly because I need at least 5 beds and it doesn't have a sofa bed as one of those 5. It also saved me close to $1000. I'm happy and it's all done.
Similar change to you! We’ll be there similar dates as well— July 19th-26th—never stayed there before, have you? see you there!
