Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

Now that the ticket only window has opened, there is availability for every park on every open day including for DHS on 7/15/20. Since the resort and tickets folks have not been able to get DHS till 7/18, can they now get those first few days based on the fact they have a ticket?

not sure I'm understanding your question. On the availability calendar you pick your type of ticket media and it will tell you if you can book a specific park for a specific day or not
We don't know if the ticket pool will be able to open up if a specific group has tickets available for another group to use once they date becomes closer

I think what the poster is saying is that those days are gone for resort guests with tickets, but available for those with only park tickets, so can resort guests with tickets book them now using just their ticket.

only way to know is to try, there's no info on any of it since it's a brand new system. Whoever tries it, let us know :D

Any info on when the park hopper function will be turned on? I have tickets for Sept. 2021:confused3

lol, that's more than a year away, we don't even know what they will do with extra pool of tickets they have for people coming in 3 weeks.
Disney will add capacity and capabilities as they see fit under the current circumstances, it's not that they want to stop selling tickets and park hoppers, it's that they have to for now until who knows when

I noticed that also on the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar and thought it was weird.

Hollywood Studios is not available July 15 through 18 for Disney Resort Guests, but IS available for Theme Park Ticket Guests. Makes no sense that someone NOT staying at a Disney resort would have HS access while a Disney resort guest would not have access.

This.....
I posed it like a question, but it was meant as a suggestion to anyone with a reservation the first week that did not get the park days they wanted.
If I was in that boat, I would go in now and try to get the days that did not have availability when you trying to reserve them as a resort guest.

There's basically 3 pools of Park Reservations and resort guests had first dibs to reserve theirs on Monday. It may seem right now that there are more "theme park ticket guest" tickets but keep in mind that a lot of people who plan on going in July, don't have tickets yet and can't buy tickets at the moment. You also have the opposite situation for AP's: A lot of AP's are missing out on Park Reservations but see availability on the "resort guest" calendar. It really all depends on how many people are going and when.

So how many days can I reserve???? Is there a limit???
Though nothing is truly clarified by Disney, it seems that you can have a total of 14 Park Passes at a time as long as you have a valid ticket.

It gets complicated.
Resort guests with AP's can get a reservation for each day of their stay (including check in and check out days) - so it can be more than 14 if you have more resort days.
Ticket holders can get the number of days on the ticket ( in a resort or not)
AP can get 3 days. If they also have resort stays, they do not get 3 days in addition to the resort stays (touchy topic)

Hi Quick question and I apologize if this had been answered before:

I was in the group that had a WDW resort reservation and 5 day tickets linked to MDE so I was able to book 5 park days during my WDW reservation stay. At the time it would not allow me to pick days before or after my official WDW resort stay and my question is that now that ticket holders without WDW resort reservations can make their park reservations am I able to change a park pass and book a day outside of my WDW resort stay?

We are staying two weeks total and would love to spread out the park days to have a more relaxing time. the second week we are staying offsite. Any help would be appreciated!

Are your tickets part of a hotel package?
