@Pooh2 Did you talk to Guest Services or the CM who picked up? Your stay should be price protected and it's not your fault they aren't opening your original resort. If the new resort doesn't have elevators, you can maybe talk to them about this and I'd venture to guess Guest Services would move you. Also, CSR is also a moderate and is currently scheduled to be open in November - when we stayed there, I believe there were elevators there also if memory serves
CSR does have elevators and it is a lovely resort. If there is price protection i would have a word too if i were in the same shoes.
After a very long wait on hold, the CM was very firm that Caribbean Beach was my only option for no upcharge.

I looked on
MDE today and Coronado appears to be open for our dates so not sure why that was not offered as an option.
Probably just going to leave it with Yacht Club as this all seems like too much stressing over a disney resort room and have no desire to spend another nearly 2 hours on the phone.
Our March trip was cancelled due to closure, FQ was closed.
Kind of losing enthusiasm for disney trip planning.
