We are staying at a Hyatt in San Antonio next month. I'm trying to decide between booking with points (getting 20% back) or booking with cash (I have a 15% off up to $38 on DH and my Chase Hyatt cards, so it would end up being a lot of points).

In the last couple of weeks, I ran across an article that had a built in calculator showing the total points outcome from booking with points or cash. I thought I bookmarked it, but now I can't find it.

Does that sound familiar to anyone? I feel like I found it from Miles to Memories web Articles from Around the Web, but I tried searching his site and couldn't find anything.

I think I'm leaning toward using the points because it would also get me free parking, but I'd love to be able to plug it all into that calculator and see what it comes up with.
I think you might be looking for this one at Frequent Miler.

Makes sense with everything going on and it brings in so many crowds. Hoping 2022 is a go.

It seems possible 2021 will be punted entirely. Debating if we want to sign up for Wine & Dine considering there will likely still be a lot of uncertainty. Hopefully things are more clear by the time registration opens next year.

Which Hyatt are you staying at? We were just at the Hii Country over Labor Day weekend. I was surprised how busy it was.

ETA: The Alamo is open. You need a reservation to get into the buildings and not just roam the grounds. We actually found it pretty interesting.

Has anyone has success with Chase getting AU cards removed from consideration after being denied? My wife was declined for a CSP because she's at 6/24. I applied because I completely forgot that I added her as an AU to 3 of my cards so I thought she was at 3/24.

Anyone know of a company or how I'd find one that would refi a mortgage under 45k? I'm so done with PNC and their customer service. I really don't want to keep being stuck with them.
... If your current rate as primary residence is good though, may make more sense to stay put, unfortunately.
Agree. Since your current loan is for a primary residence, and your new loan would be for investment property, you would prolly pay a percent higher than current primary residence loans. If that is still an improvement over your current rate then dig deeper.

Are they Chase cards? I was able to pass recon but the card that got me over 5/24 was a chase card and they could see in their system that I was just an AU.

Another question on applying for a P2 for the CSP...

If I want to be an AU, would P2 put my name down somewhere during the application process, or is that something that only happens afterwards?

Is there anything else I should know/do before having him apply? I plan to do most of the spending on it so I want to make sure I have a card in my name.

Thanks! House is in NC, I'm in WA. Oh yeah, forgot that part. It's an income prop. When I refied with PNC it was when I was still living in the house. I think the combination of the low bal and the rental will make it hard.

OOOOOH where in NC? I'm looking at rental properties there too! I toured a few of the condos I'm interested in when I was there in August :)

No you don't 😊 it'll add to your 5/24. Either add it to a mobile payment, use his card or ask for a replacement card due to damage after a couple of weeks so the original stays active and the number doesn't change.

Way inland, not where you want.

But your forgetting a major rule of churning: Never add yourself or a spouse as an AU...

Yes! That is it - thank you! I'll have to play around with it tonight when I get home from work.

We are planning on staying at the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk. It sounds like on one side is the RiverWalk and the Alamo is on the other. We are going down the 23rd, so I have a bit of time, but need to start looking at what all is open. Thanks for mentioning that we'll need reservations for the Alamo, we definitely want to see that.

I have the at&t offer (buy 2 items @ $15 or more each get $35 back) on my CSR. Will charging cords for at&t work on iPhones on other phone plans? I use tracfone which is compatible with Verizon. I’m thinking they will work but I’d like to make sure before I buy. I googled it but no helpful info came up.

I just requested another card for DH's CSR. I did it all online and marked that the card was damaged. If you say lost or stolen, you'll get a new card number, so be sure not to say that. We've had it as a "keeper" card, so I wanted a copy to so I could use it for every day spend when it made sense. The card has his name on it, but I've never had a problem using it.

Don’t do it, @ten6mom! Use a different way to spend on that card!:scared1::love:

yes charging cords are device specific, not network specific.
