Official November 2021!

AKL opens in august and reservations open tomorrow in case anyone wants to switch around their November trip! AKL is so pretty at Christmas time!

We were booked at Pop and I wanted to extend the trip, but no availability so we've moved the entire trip offsite. Never done a Disney trip offsite, but really looking forward to having a car and the freedom to eat anywhere we want, as well as visit non-Disney locations while we are there. I think I'm actually more excited now! Also hoping for the return of FP+, although I know we won't get the best stuff now that we are offsite. Still, I'm super excited to have plans finalized!

Can you keep your old reservation and keep calling back to see if you can get that time?

I already cancelled it. Tried a few times and then decided it was time for something new anyways. The new plans cost the same as on-site anyways, but we'll have a rental car and more dining flexibility, plus a full kitchen and better pool area. So I'm not sad at all. Actually more excited about the trip with something new to look forward to!

We are booked Thanksgiving week at CBR. Less than 150 to go!!
Anyone heard anything possible moving up when we can do Dining; I wouldn't want to miss it.

I was disappointed in the SW prices to be honest. It is going to be 2600 for my family to fly into Orlando the week of Thanksgiving with southwest or 3200 with American. I'm considering, and really leaning toward flying into Tampa with Southwest for 1600 and just making the drive.

This is why I am driving; my aunt is flying and for her plus her 2 kids was $1900! I was like nope; **Beep Beep** driving on down.

We always drive because the cost of airfare is ridiculous here. Plus, I pack waaaaay too much for our two week trip and probably couldn't afford to fly all of our luggage. :) We cut the drive into two parts and stay somewhere around the halfway point. A few years ago, we started taking taking a small ice chest with sandwiches and drinks so that we stop at one of the large rest areas and stretch our legs. The cost to drive to and from Disney including the hotel for one night is around $350 so much cheaper than flying.

I am going to sacrifice myself to watch our two year old so my wife, her sister, and father can enjoy a magical night.

Sounds like an expensive way to guarantee one perfect night.

If you're going Thanksgiving week, haven't done park reservations yet, and want to go to DHS, reserve now! When I checked yesterday, DHS was unavailable on Monday that week. This morning, it's unavailable Monday and Tuesday. Magic Kingdom for Thanksgiving day is also fully booked.

Just sitting here waiting for the holiday party dates….. c’mon Disney give them too meeee..
I'm hoping we hear something this week!! Since Disney has already said that we'll be able to book the Merriest Party in Aug we need to know the dates before then so we can plan!

🤞 pixiedust:

Here I was thinking I was nuts to book two nights solo at YC the 18-20th for Remy and fireworks from my balcony (🤞I have a water view) before I head to meet family for turkey day. Now hoping there is an AH one of those days!! Sheesh, never thought I’d go to one of these solo, but I’d manage;)!

Finalized plans yesterday for our Epic Food and Wine Binge fest. SW changed both our departure/return flights but ended up with a better itinerary. Park reservations done and ME booked. This will be our 4th trip this year.

Man, it’s getting real! My trip planning “began” January 2020 and at times it seemed like double digits would never come.

We should start to see November operating times soon and hopefully see some dates for the Xmas event. I’m getting excited :)

OK - so is anyone planning on going to the Merriest After hours party?

We're buying tickets for Nov 12th!

This is turning into a whirlwind busy 4 night trip for DH and I!

we arrive on Wed, Nov 10th, with our "currently booked" 9:40am arrival into MCO.....then we'll head to MK that day and there "should be" extended park hours that night so even though we'll arrive in the park late morning/lunch time, we'll make up that time with later hours in the park.

With the late night the night before, we're headed to Epcot on the 11th, and their delayed opening will help catching up on sleep...hoping to snag a Via Napoli dinner for that night!!

then we start at HS for the 12th...and then will finish up the night at the Merriest Party @ MK...

then back to Epcot on the 13th and *fingers crossed* we'll be able to snag a dinner ADR for Space 220 that night!

right now our departing flight on Sunday is at 10:20am which means no parks for us, but we may be exhausted by then anyway!!!

:rolleyes1 :jumping1: :crazy2: :faint:
