Disney is planning an imminent launch of Disney Genie and Genie+

Looks like sometime in the week following 10/1 the service may launch.

Oh good! My trip is in 10 days and I was starting to get a bad feeling that we would be the guinea pigs so that they could work out the bugs before 10/1.

I was able to get 2 Sorcerer Passes with minimal wait times! No issues with the DVC membership verifying online.
We leave tomorrow morning - I'm so excited!!!

I'm going to embarrass my DH when we go in November and I'm standing there bawling in the middle of Main Street....

Glad to hear that it has emotion! Can't wait to hear it now. I'm going to be a complete wreck on my trip, I'll be there for the last HEA and the first DE. I already bawl every time I see HEA (or just hear the music haha), I don't know how I'll react on the last night

My understanding it that there's a crack in the foundation that the Yeti is on and there's no way to fix it without a complete do-over.

That is a really long refurb, covering both my spring runDisney trips. Glad I’m going in December too.

It does seem very long for a system maintenance refurb. I know supply chains are often slow at the moment. If new parts are involved that could be a factor, but I still wonder why exactly it is that long and already announced to be that long.
