I love credit cards so much! v5.0 - 2022 (see first page for add'l details)

It's not a formally announced policy, but that is how it has worked since July of last year.

I usually use the $10 Grubhub credit on lunch from a local chinese restaurant. I use the $10 Uber on UberEats, usually a pickup order so it's actually a benefit.

That's not a factual basis for a complaint and in the finance industry I would expect this to end up more likely to be completely shut down by Chase rather than getting an exception and access to the points. If an insurance company doesn't process a claim properly, that is a factual basis for a complaint, not following the agreement you made is not. It's also written in the UR agreement that they may shut down your UR account if they believe you've misused the program in any way. Filing a frivolous complaint about the program could be construed as misusing the program. I would send an email to the EO, explain the situation and hope they make an exception.

I'd do what @FreeDiningFanatic suggested.

I’m trying to figure out the travel credit for the CSR. I pced from a CSP to CSR in Feb 2021, got $300 in travel credit from groceries in March 2021. Have had multiple travel expenses since including travel expenses in March 2022 that did not code for credit. The next one to code for credit was April 2022. I’ve received $230 in travel credit total since. My AF posted on June 1. I plan to book a $70 or so refundable fare, then PC back to a CSP. My next statement closing date is June 11. Will I be eligible for an additional $300 travel credit after statement closed or is this it? Hope that makes sense.😊
Your travel credit will reset after your statement closes on the 11th, you should have time to book another refundable flight before you PC it back.

As you PC'd from the CSP - your travel credit reset does not necessarily happen around the same time as the annual fee posts.

In your case, it appears that your travel credit reset happened with your April 2022 statement - therefore as you correctly stated - you have $70 left to use and there will be no additional credit until April 2023.

Once you have spent the $70 - you can check the next reset date by going into your account online - go to the Ultimate rewards page, and select 'rewards activity'. Scroll down and you should find a box that tells you how much of the travel credit you have used and when it will reset. It used to be easy to do on the app, but for some reason I can't find it there anymore.

DoC has the $5 doordash credit for CSR, use the APril/May/June up at once..... where is this listed in card benefits? I don't see it anywhere

I was going to hold off on the survey too, give them a chance to fix things. But there's a DP on DoC that they were asked for verification (DL, utility bill) soon after doing the survey, so I went ahead and did it.

So it's looking better. Seems they just want to verify the accounts, not shut everyone down. Which kind of makes sense since the offer is still up.
Thanks for this. I just did the survey. Hopefully I'll get an email.

Just a friendly reminder to keep checking flight prices! Our late August flight finally
went down almost half! I have been checking several times a day. Alerts don't seem to
come fast enough.

*As a side note because of so many cancellations going on if possible get creative with the
airport you are flying from. I shifted from my closest airport to one further because if they
cancel that first morning flight there are 5 more non stops right after it!

Ok experienced travelers...... what works on the CSR TC? Does a ticket purchase thru UT work? I'm also needing to purchase Hershey park tix from their park website, does that trigger the TC? Thank you! I'd hate for it not to trigger the travel credit

I just joined Instacart to have a birthday cake and flowers delivered to my DS in Gainsville, FL. How do I sign up for rebates and Delta points? Love the idea of instacart gift cards. I always have Kroger fuel points to redeem each month, usually from Disney GCs.
you need to link your delta account they give you free delivery if you are certain tiers, its on the bottom of the instacart express screen.

no park tickets i know of trigger a travel credit.

I do Grubhub pickup. Usually a smaller order or some place that doesn't mark up their price. I know some do Cheesecake Factory GC and store those up, but you have to buy them in person.
there is a hack for this my brother told me yesterday, he said if you have grub hub + you get 10$ off a pick up every month so you get your 10$ back i haven't tried it yet.

I didn't know this was there, so thank you. I also PC'ed so I am on a weird Aug TC reset and Nov AF, and it's been a little bit confusing. @sinnika I saw a DP on reddit yesterday about someone being offered a CSR retention offer of a $250 SC, so it may be worth calling if you're on the fence about keeping the card.

I would doubt HP would code to trigger it. Heck, I had a stay at the Hershey Lodge a few years ago that didn’t even code as travel.

For those saying to book a refundable flight to trigger the CSR travel credit. Do you do this to get the credit and then cancel the flight for a refund?

I think generally you are fine to do it; but another one angle to think about is will you be okay if you pay AF, meet spend, and then don’t have bonus post? That could happen. And as anyone who has dealt with Amex on anything knows you can’t really argue with them. I had clawbacks of MR’s years ago for self referrals. That was before it was even spelled out that it wasn’t allowed. But there wasn’t anything I could do about it really. It is just part of the gamble of dealing with Amex.

But you can chat with them after you get the card to find out what date you need to meet the spend by to get the welcome bonus. I almost always do this with chase or amex both to make sure the date is right and that it's there. If they say it's not and chatting with someone else gets the same answer then it can be decided from there to keep going or cancel. But I've yet to read someone say they didn't get the bonus when chat\phone said it wasn't attached. Plus if you don't get the popup there's no reason to think the bonus won't post.

Thanks! Found it! I do have enough travel expenses to use the $300 credit every year, so that takes my fee to $250 per year. I’m looking for reasons to keep it or PC back. Do you know if extra bonus points from Chase for various airlines (like Virgin right now) apply to all UR accounts or just the CSR? Any other reasons to keep the CSR?

This is my first year with the CSR so I don't know if PYB always has the AF as an option but I wiped out my AF for 36,666 points. So if you build up UR points with other cards you could transfer them to your CSR wipe out the AF and get a really nice discount. That could give you more value in addition to the $300 travel credit.

Wait. Have things changed? I have definitely purchased Disney tickets from UT and had them code as travel. That was a few years ago, though. I know buying park tickets from Disney doesn't work but I thought third party sites often did? UT definitely did in the past.

Shoot, if things have changed I am going to have to rethink my Universal Ticket plan...

Any idea what they are coding as now?
