I'm not sure why he became so popular but he it the first attraction as you enter the park.

Certainly he attracts the ladies.

It might not be the right cookie for you if you don't really like carrot cake or cream cheese and that's ok.

I don't mind them... but I'll almost always pick something else.

I think this was the first time I really saw it too. It's in the area where pictures were purchased. It's an area that is obsolete now.

I have really grown to like ToT, Andi and I avoided for many years and once we rode it, loved it!

I'm so glad you gave it a try. It's my favorite in DHS! Dennis rides it reluctantly.

I love the Muppet area and yes you are right it is rather sad now. The QS restaurant in that area could be so much more!

The best part of Pizza Rizzo's is the upstairs Wedding reception room.

Muppets is a favorite attraction of ours!

Is anyone else nervous the first time you go to a new to you resort for a new to you restaurant?

I do, especially when we are running late! I wanted to try this breakfast but it just seems so pricey now... I keep booking ti and then cancelling it.

One of my goals was to see the mosaics. They did not disappoint.

They really are so beautiful!

It's hard to leave at lunch time, you on'y get so much done! And you want new people to fall in love with the place like we do!

This whole area seems so remote now. I miss it being a more "happening" area like it was before they tore down the Streets of America.

It really is! That whole park has so many dead ends now, i hope they fix some of that will all the money they are to be investing into the parks.

Tuesday, September 7, 2021 DHS-Galaxy Edge With a Non-Star Wars Fan

After lunch it was time head to Galaxy Edge and our Oga's ADR.

Leah is not a Star Wars fan but she was up to try anything. This was my was second visit here and so far it's my favorite. My biggest complaint with Oga's is we never get a table where we can sit. Our first visit we were put in an alcove with a standing bar along the wall with other people. It was not fun to be on the side and standing. This trip we were given a standing table but at least it was in the middle of the action. Leah didn't know squat about Star Wars but she Facetimed her brother who does and he was very envious of her. She loved the environment and really got into it.




Me being envious of the people behind us with a table and seating.

I had a Bespin Fizz - Bacardi superior rum, yuzu puree, pomegranate juice, white cranberry juice and cloud swirl. It was good and fruity just like I like it.

Leah, who was under 21 had the Black Spire Brew-Cold Brew Joffrey's Coffee, honey, falernum, passion Fruit, and citrus. She enjoyed her drink too and got a shot of much needed caffeine.

We enjoyed the antics and our drinks.

We explored Galaxy Edge while we were waiting for our Rise boarding group.




The characters were out which was neat for me but made no sense to Leah. She did enjoy the area which is good to know for anyone who isn't a Star Wars fan. Disney does such a fabulous job with the details and full emersion.

Our boarding group was finally called at 4:45 so headed over there.

This was new experience for Leah and she took it very serious. She paid very close attention to what they told us and that we needed to not let anyone know where the Rebel base was. She made me pay closer attention and so far this has been my favorite time to ride.



I'm very curious to know what she told her brother about it when she saw him again. She will be visiting the parks after Christmas so I hope she is able to share what she learned from us with her siblings.
We were done with Rise and really needed to head out of the park. We stopped for some more Photopass pictures as we left GE.

I don't think she was taking the Force very serious.
We caught the Mickey & Friends Motorcade as we were leaving.



I'm missing these fun Motorcades.

We made it back to Movies to rest, freshen up and get changed for Boo Bash.
