DDC XXXIV: The Original Home Of The DISDads!!!

Morning Centurions from a bright and Sunny mother country. Been to our local cafe this morning, Sausage Bacon and Egg on an everything bagel. All is good. Lady Ks Dad is out of hospital, so going over there to watch the football with him.
ADR day today for August, but there's not really much point as we are done with Cinderella's and Be Our Guest. I still can't believe how popular that ressie is.
We are gonna hit all of the AKL restaurants for our first bit so Boma for Breakfast, Sannaa & Jiko for dinner. DS loves a cheeky curry, and hopefully the Ninja will be coming out of her beige food stage by then, it's driving us nuts.

I'd be up for either, both and/or a good pub. One of the best times we had in the UK was when my friend and I took our kids to this small pub called the Anchor Inn. Same family owned it since something like the 1850's (I know, a new business venture by UK standards).
Oo, a triple header. I like it.
It's nice to be able to support start ups. Hopefully they'll make a go of it, time will tell.
Thanks, but she can swear and drink like a Longshoreman.
I might send the Curly haired ninja across for the final phase of her training. As a good finishing school is probably out of the question. Unless St Trinian's is still going.
Why yes, there is a Whole Foods near me.
We used to shop in Whole foods. Then we got kids.

Have a great day chaps, Mike - Happy Birthday mate, and Doc enjoy the parks.

Beige food...so British food then. ;)

Early morning breakfast and some Olympics here before getting back on the highway for DS's game. They won the game last night 67-61 to advance to the Sectional Finals this afternoon. Winner get to play on the big court next weekend in the AAA final.

Have a good one all.

They look so innocent in pictures on Facebook. Way to teach her all the good cuss words. Even better when you make a few new combinations to really expand their vocabulary. I always think of the scene in the Christmas Story when the mom blames the kid's friend instead of the father for the cuss words.

Same her. Cinderella's castle was a must do each trip for breakfast when they had the stuffed French toast. Now, it's carp like lunch and dinner. We haven't tried BoG for lunch, but were not impressed with dinner. We don't do ADRs in the parks anymore as MK's best is the Plaza (unless you want the glutton style of Crystal Palace), DHS is closed for construction, we have Landry's Card for AK Yak n Yeti or Rainforest, and we snack and drink around the World Showcase at Epcot. Epcot is the most difficult as there are many good restaurants there, but then I'm too full to drink and snack.

Yeah, BoG lunch ain’t much better, and the breakfast was hideous. We really enjoyed Skipper Canteen. I’d go back there. We do the same in Epcot as you, and I’m too full of beer to enjoy a big dinner. We really prefer eating in the resorts or Springs.

Not going to even try going back to read.
Prayers, pixie dust, congrats where needed.

Woke up this morning and my phone had reset itself, unable to access the internet. As in, when you select the App, it went to another App. Did a factory reset and working now. Looks like new phone shopping will be in order. I hate that carp.

I enjoyed Skipper Canteen, youngest dd, not so much. Service was a bit slow, but i chalked that up to being new.

Hope all is well.

Happy weekend guys. Nice out so spent the morning outside puttering around and a bit of reading. Now back to the Olympics.

I think they have a chance. A few years ago they even installed pipes that draws the beer directly from the cellar. No more going downstairs with a jug. (true story) Great place.

I'll send you an application. The Pirate Princess has high standards but I'll see what I can do.

Same to you, Happy Birthday Mike, and Doc, try to have fun.

Good luck to DS and the team

That was her mother.

Not that I've ever seen, what with her going dry for her running.

You should have seen her after the marathon. Breaking beer bottles over her head and starting fights. The bouncers were afraid to ask her to leave.

Yep, me too. I much preferred it when I worked for the phone company, I just chucked it at one of the store managers and asked them nicely to sort it out. It always came back perfect or replaced.

Awesome. There's a few old pubs left in London. Up until 2 years ago Young's in Wandsworth used to take the beer straight from the brewery on a horse drawn carriage to the pub on the corner. That was a cool place. Its now another frickin' development for apartments.

Not bad. She’s in a fair bit of pain, but the meds are helping. Surgeon said it went well.
All the best from over here mate.

A game on the big court is not to be for this year. Sadly the Boys fell short this afternoon after a tight battle for 3 quarters. They lead up until the start of the 4th but then the other teams seniors took over and shot the lights out from behind the 3 point line, our guys had no answer. Still they have nothing to hang their heads about, finishing in the top 4 off the top class in the Province is nothing to be upset about. Proud of all the boys and a couple of great coaches. DS had a great year and continued to grow as a basketball player and a young man.

On to volleyball for school sport and we'll see if there is more basketball to come for this spring.

Hope she recovers quickly and feels better soon.

Ah well. The way they finished is nothing to sneeze at. Well done and you are rightly proud of the young man.

Thanks Cj.

We need to figure out if we can meet up on the 10th. We are off the ship that morning and staying at the Doubletree Biscayne Bay.

Afternoon compatriots, from a bright and sunny London. Our next door neighbours have decided to fell all their trees on the border with us, so our garden and back room, where we spend all our time, are now awash with sunlight. But now we have to buy new fences, or I need to start wearing pants around the house. So fences it is.
Took the boy out for a mile and a half run today, if he stopped chatting all the way round, he probably get round with more puff in him. But its fun to have him jabbering on......
Forerib of beef today. Bone in Prime Rib in the funny dialect that you all seemed to have picked up from somewhere.

Morning folks.
Too early!
But gonna try a new recipe. Bacon egg & cheese French toast.
Not for some of us, sunshine.
That sounds........tempting. Cheeky bit of ketchup with it? Hope the DD is on the mend, buddy.

Go Lions! Go Declan! Sounds like he had a great year. :thumbsup2

Have a great Sunday fellas.
