DVC grocery delivery?

Hi,
As usual I’m late to the party LOL. I knew about gardengrocer before but with a party of 8 I will need more stuff this trip.
I was looking at email from DVC regarding checkin soon and I notice a grocery delivery!!

Has this always been there?
Prices look decent .... think it was $ 6.50?? For 24 pk water?
If this is correct amazing.
Still will need my UPS box but a lot less now:-)
 
Yes. It has been there for many years. It is from the resort shop. They will deliver to your Villa
 
Wow!! but the prices are way cheaper than buying at shop it seems.... yes?

Why not have groceries delivered from one of the many supermarkets in the area that deliver. Publix, Safeway, and Walmart come to mind. Much less expensive.

I was always under the impression that the price to purchase in the gift shop is exactly the same as the price to have the item delivered from the gift shop. Maybe someone else has compared recently.

There have been a lot of posts lately about grocery delivery to Disney hotels. PP mentioned some options. Others have used Amazon Prime Now.
 
We have tried all of the services and now use Instacart with Publix.

We used Amazon Prime Now in April and that was great. Sent order just before our flight took off and the groceries were there waiting for us when we checked in.
 


I used to use the DVC grocery delivery form until I discovered PrimeNow and GardenGrocer. The water prices have always been decent but everything else is pretty inflated. They're inflated across the board, really - PrimeNow is a little better price-wise, and much more convenient to schedule. The last time I used the DVC form they only accepted faxed requests and now I'm not even sure they do that anymore...
 
Does anyone know of grocery delivery options for Aulani? We have the normal grocery delivery form but was curious about other options. TIA
 
We used Instacart (Publix) this past week. Everything went smoothly and I would use it again.
 
We are trying Walmart.. just ordered tonight and should be delivered Tuesday evening of our arrival.. hoping all works out!
 
I was looking for a new service. I have always used GG but prices are so high. $10.99 for 36 waters. $6.50 for a box of mini muffins!

Is Amazon better, prices that is or Walmart?

We use garden grocer. Also.... we have Brita bottles, no need to haul bottles of water with you. I picked up some water bottler insulators with straps too.
 
A 24 pack of water shouldn't run more than about $4-$5, we end up just using Amazon's Prime Now service, arrives within a dedicated time window, prices are very reasonable and overall just a good deal.

Will Amazon Prime Now leave alcohol with Bell Service to your knowledge?

We tried to use Safeway on our trip 2 weeks ago because of the larger selection. Placed the order a couple of nights before we left. Got a confirmation email with our order everything seemed good. Then I noticed the next night it didn't apply the $20 first order discount. No big deal but tried to go back into My Orders to see why. The order wasn't showing at all. So I sent them an email that night. When I still hadn't received a reply by time our flight landed the next day I called while on the Magic Express. 30 minutes of hold time and never got to talk with anyone. As expected groceries didn't show up that night so ended up ordering Instacart which arrived next morning. Still haven't received any kind of reply to email from Safeway, but at least they didn't charge credit card either. The on-hold message did indicate they were aware of "issues" with online orders and were experiencing longer wait times.
