Canadians Shopping at DisneyStore Online

I feel ya! thats why we always put in an order and have it delivered to the resort when we are there!!! Saves on the crazy shipping!!!!

But I wanna shop for Disney stuff during the times I *can't* go to WDW. It's my Disney "fix" while I'm saving up vacation monies. :(

I have anything I order online and anything too big to bring home that I buy, shipped to follow me to an address in Lewiston. It's a freight-shipping company and as the above poster said, the car is full of Canadian lic plates collecting their goods.
They charge $5 a pkg, no matter how big and I have been using them for about 10 yrs with not ever a problem. They will also forward on to you here if you wish...

Can you share this info?

I'm not sure what the problem was, but when you create an account, you have to put your shipping address in there. There are many lines available in which to put the following:

Guest Name
Check in date
Resort Name
Address & Phone #

FYI - Always check with resort for actual shipping address, as we have had errors on our confirmation letters. This way, you also alert the resort to expect packages for you.

HTH, Tiger :)
How long before your trip do you make your order? Is 30 days before too late? too early

I agree, it’s super disappointing. I refuse to shop there. I either shop in store which only happens like once per year because there arnt any super close by, or if I need something really specific I’ll order it and ship it to my MeeMaws place and my step mom will pick it up when she’s down to the states for a visit. That usually only happens around US thanksgiving for Christmas gifts. But even then it’s still in US funds, so it’s still expensive.

This thread is from 2010. I don't know that many of the comments are still relevant

This is a great thread! I’ve recently moved too far from the border to do the mailbox thing, but we are heading to WDW in September. I would love to know the timeframe for ordering and having a package delivered to the resort. And how sad that they still don’t have a viable shipping option to Canada?

I agree! It's sad that 8 years later they still don't have this right. I've seen a few things on the online store I haven't seen at my local stores. Shipping to the resort is a great idea. I'm going to look into it for our upcoming trip

8 year old thread but still relevant!! I placed an order last week for two sweaters and it would have cost me $40 US to ship to Canada, thank goodness I live close to the border and can ship it there

Does anyone know how long before a trip I should shop to have it shipped to the resort? Basically what’s the lead time on shipping?

While many US stores won't ship to Canada, there are plenty that do.
It's long past the time Disney should get on board with their Canadian neighbours. However, I don't see them offering free, or even reasonable shipping costs here any time soon.

Honestly, the fact that even when you're spending $5000+ on a vacation, they STILL won't send Magic bands to Canada, really is frustrating.

Their prices are definitely ridiculous, I love ordering from the store and the shopparks app but use a US address post office, is this something you are able to do if you are close to the border.
Edit - and of course I don't know how to read a date, lol

our store already closed.. it's sad. I was part of the opening team for 2 lower mainland locations and now they are both gone... we have no alternatives other than drive south; I think Bellingham still has a location otherwise we need to head to Seattle. :scared1:
They have a Disney Store in Metrotown and Pacific Center and Guilford in the Lower Mainland. I was at Pacific Center today and Guilford 2 weeks ago.
