Booking more than one room through Disney

Hi all, I'm looking at booking for Aug/Sep next year and there'll be 6 adults travelling, me and DH, DD and partner, DS and partner so we'd have to have 3 rooms (still looking at villa or apartment options too) but I can't see anywhere on the wdw site to add the number of rooms. When I try to put in 6 adults it offers me a room for 4 plus a room with 2 in.

Do I have to call wdw to do this? The TUI site has a +Room button. At the moment I'm having to price for 2 adults to get an idea of cost for Disney hotels.

I've just read on another thread that the deluxe villa rooms aren't able to be booked until 6 or 11 months out now, SSR, OKW, etc. but I'd want one with 3 bedrooms - are these available to book without dvc??

Cheers guys

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that will DVC, you'll never guaranteed until your reach the 6-months mark. At that point, unless all the villas have been rented by DVC member, then your paid reservation becomes really yours.

You might as well do separate reservations if you want to ensure the number of rooms that you need, though I would call if I were you, as it would probably be easier. Also, remember that connecting rooms are always a request. (I assume your kids are adults, so it might not matter that much to you.)

Hi
I'm not certain about the Villas and DVC conditions but the Walt disney UK site does only allow one room per booking on it. For multiple rooms you have to book them seperatly then call them and they can link the bookings and request adjoining or interconnecting rooms though i was told this is never 100% guaranteed.
We had this issue this year booking two rooms at ASMu.

With that many people, unless you REALLY want to stay onsite, you save a fortune staying in an offsite villa. Even with no free dining and renting a couple of cars you'd save money.

Your other option is to rent points, you'll be able to book a villa earlier then.

Thanks guys, there's only me who'll be driving and I have always done so in the past, we've also used the Disney transport and Uber and Lyft so would be fine with that. We've never done a villa and quite like being where we can walk for drinks and snacks etc. At the moment one of the all stars and Coronado springs are coming out between £1150 and £1300 per person with QS dining and tickets. I've been tracking flights since late July so am tempted to leave it until that time next year and try to get seats on the Dreamliner for around £300 - £350 each.

As for adjoining rooms - the kids will be 24 and 21 next year lol!

Edited to add: I've just had a quote back from Vacation Upgrades for Wyndham Bonnet Creek, it's $275 per night high season, then from 6 Sept $210 per night, that's for a 3 bedroom deluxe.

Thats an amazing price if you can get it! Not really seen anything sub £450 for a while!
Newcastle to Sanford on 27 Aug this year for two weeks is currently £249 pp but you need to add a case for £60 on top, the price has been similar all month for those dates. At one point they were £220!

Ah that explains it, could never get that price from Gatwick, Stansted or Manchester!
