New Bounceback: Free Dining 2019

Not convinced it will make any difference but the new name of what we know as 'BounceBack' is called the 'Future Stay Offer.' Still not convinced the front desk will know what we're asking about but that is another name people can ask about as they have officially changed the name from BounceBack to Future Stay Offer.

Yesterday I was able to book our FD Bounceback offer with no problems for Pop Century. He did try to book pool view, but I caught it when he was reading it all back to me. He said Standard Pool view, and I said no, just standard. So watch out for that.

Is a room only bounce back available??? Not interested in the free dining
The current BB offer available until the end of October is a FD BB. Looking at your ticker I'm guessing the BB may not work for you this time.

That being said, it's always worth calling x8844 from your room while you're there to ask if there are any room discount BB's being offered. It's difficult to find published information these days so I'd err on the side of caution if I were you.

Just got back. Stayed 6 nights at BWI, they did not have the paper in the room but knew to call the number. Booked 2 rooms for next year with FD. Standard view room at POR. I then stayed 2 nights at Sports and they did have the paper in the room.

When I booked mine a couple of weeks ago, I wanted two rooms at CSR and I knew exactly what the totals should be. When the cast member booked everything, only one room had free dining code, the other didn't. Luckily I knew the number was way off and she figured out what she did wrong.

Is there a way to get the booking to my travel agent, so they get credit for it?

If your TA made your current reservation you can ask when booking your Bounce Back (OK, Future Stay Offer) that the same TA be linked to your reservation. I've done this a few times and it works fine. TA may not automatically get confirmation - Disney can be slow with that - so you can alert your TA when you get home.

If not booked with TA information, any bookings that are self made can be transferred to a TA within 30 days from booking it, there is a form the TA has to send to Disney so best not to wait until the end of the 30 days. Once transferred your TA will have to make any changes and payments, but I'm sure he/she will thank you for thinking of them and supporting their business.

Does anyone know if the 2019 BounceBack/Free Dining Offer includes the month of November? The BB for 2018 completely blacked out Oct and Nov.

My wife is going to a conference next month and staying at Pop, we as a family are going in March. We haven't picked our resort yet as we're waiting for the spring room discounts to come out. My wife is also going to check the BB offer which looks to be FD. Can that BB be combined with a RO spring discount or do you need to book it as a package? I'm also buying the Canadian discount tickets that are available now as well.

No. You can’t combine discounts. The FD is a package that requires a minimum four day parkhopper tickets (at regular price) plus a rack rate room at qualifying resorts and the BB FD offer is not available in March.

Thank you. That solves that issue!

You may wish to hold off buying the Cdn tickets unless you’ve already done so. You will be able to use the CDN tickets with s room discount trip. It’s best to fun the numbers and see which is more beneficial financially for you.

I don’t believe the current BB offer includes March dates.

No. We were there last month and I asked for a room-only. They said no, it was only free dining. The agent seemed a bit put off by the fact that I wasn't interested in free dining, actually.

I have been reading the posts because I saw the answer once but couldn't find it again.

If I book the BB with free dining, can I upgrade the tickets to an Annual Pass? Can I do it before I go? Holding on to the tickets would be an option if they didn't expire December 2019.

You can upgrade the tickets to an AP when you get there, can’t do it ahead. With the new ticketing policies, I’m not sure how the expiration/ saving tickets for later will work.
