    Copper Creek or Boulder Ridge

We stayed Copper Creek. We probably could have seen a part of the electrical water pageant from our balcony but always were asleep by then. We loved Copper Creek because it was in the lodge and it is just so grand and majestic. We loved walking in to that lobby every day and it never felt busy...

Embarkation Lunch - Where do you go?

It’s funny, I never understood why you would want to start with Cabannas? Now I know but To me, taking time for a sit down meal was a waste of “fun” time. Of course I had kids ready to jump right in the pools/ ride the auquaduck/ ride the Mickey slide as soon as possible!!

2 rooms at Poly or 2 br villa at Boulder Ridge?

We stayed at CCV but I will tell you, we really enjoyed having a 2 bedroom Villa. There was me and DH and 2 adult kids/spouses our teen and a baby (7 plus a baby) it was nice being all together and eating meals as a family. Having a full kitchen for us was huge, I just can’t stand eating out too...

    Sticker shock!!

It really is. If it wasn’t for us, there is no way my grandkids would be getting this trip, and if it was this expensive years ago, I couldn’t have afforded it for my children either. I understand they charge it because they can, and the parks are still full. We cut corners where we can, and...

    SSR or moderate

I think you will get a better deal renting points at SSR. Haven’t stayed there yet (September will be first time) we rented points last year at WL and loved it!! It was easy, had a 2 bedroom so we had 2 bathrooms, our own balcony, a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Wish we could do it every trip...

Some suggestions for chilling at WDW please (-:

I know there are probably better places to watch the MK fireworks, but my favorite thing to do on our last trip was to eat dessert at Geyser point (Wilderness lodge) in the comfy seating down by the water while watching the fireworks. The music is piped in and there were very few people there. I...

    Things to get before trip

We have never done the popcorn buckets but thought about it. If I get one in September can I still use it in May next year? I think I read you could

    Things to get before trip

I haven’t decided yet. My own kids always carried their own bags from a young age. Not sure if the grandkids are responsible enough. I fear I may be running all over the park looking for a bag that they took off and forgot.

    Things to get before trip

So excited to be taking the grands on this big first trip May 2025. (3 boys 10,9,6) I am going to the parks in September with my DD and DGD2 for a girls trip. The boys don’t know yet and we plan on making them a big box for Christmas to surprise them. What can I get for their trip when I am...

    Sticker shock!!

Just priced out a 5 day WDW ticket for 6 (4 adult and 2 children) OMG!! As my family has slowly grown up and moved away, I guess I haven’t noticed how much prices have gone up. We are going May 2025. We like 5 day passes so we can return to the park we liked the best or needed more time at but I...

    13 yo in MDE

We have had so much trouble after doing that. I have my DS in my MDE and he created his own and was linked. I swear every time we go to WDW there is an issue with it. Either the tickets are on the wrong account or the room is on the wrong account. Just have him sign into yours!!! I swear it’s...

    Comfort stations

Thanks! I didn't think so. Just trying to save space on packing toiletries. Now I’m thinking the little boys may be better off taking showers in the camper instead of A. Passing the soap and shampoo back and forth, probably spilling it at some point or B. Each having their own bag of toiletries...

    Comfort stations

So we haven’t camped at the Ft since 2018 and I can’t remember, is there soap/shampoo on the shower walls at the comfort stations? I’m thinking no, but can’t remember for sure. We are renting a camper and with 6 of us I think the comfort stations might be better showers.

Planning for first trip with a child

My older 2 were 8&6 our first trip and I feel they missed out on soooo much (but we didn’t have the finances back then and DH had never been so he didn’t “get it” yet) That being said, I think I would try and avoid that 12-24 month age in the parks. All they want to do is get down and walk and...

Help! Grandparents trying to plan a family WDW adventure and overwhelmed!

We have done multi generational trips for years. Some are great, some are stressful. We do all go to the same park every day. Mostly we break up into individual family groups. Grandma and grandpa normally go with the family that needs more help with littles(my younger brother) my older...

    2025 Bookings open tomorrow, 2/27

Made my 4/27-5/4 2025 reservation for a premium site. For a week the price is $50 higher than it would have been in 2024. (Easter is later in 2025, on April 20th so maybe that’s why?)
