Yes, that's what we could not recall. The DVC hotel rooms are pretty hard to book. Be certain to check Aulani's cash room rates and check any deals the hotel mightbe offering. Sometimes the hotel deal is cheaper than renting DVC points (depending upon the room you are trying to book). Also...

If my memory is correct...there are only 8 hotel rooms at Aulani (they book out fast). It's mostly a DVC resort (you can still pay cash for a DVC room).

Hi everyone, We just read the release about ABD private adventures. forgive me but it’s not clear on the ABD site how this works. Does anyone know if you are a group of 2...does this mean you are not travelling with anyone else? Hard to tell...but can see the price for 2 is higher...

lot's of great info here. We often explain and compare Aulani to DCL cruise. both are run and operated by same team...and you can tell. Does not help if you have never been on a Disney cruise before

it's very quite resort. Yes, they do have live bands that play...but nothing crazy late in the night. It's like a DCL cruise....99.9% guest are not out late and the resort is pretty quite at night. During the day it's fine and not really much background music can be heard outside.

I'm pretty sure we read somewhere that the snorkel equipment is for resort use only. You can buy really cheap sets at all the local shops (even the ABC store across the road). Or, buy them cheap on Amazon and bring with you. Will certainly cost you less the $45 each to BYO

You wont really find any "deals" with 3rd party booking companies (bookingDOTcom,Expedia and so forth). You can find deal time to time direct with Aulani. However, for cost savings renting DVC points is going to be the best deal out there. Your stay will be a fraction of the cost. We are Aulani...
