    Airmiles Armchair Chatter

Thank you for this! I needed it sort of laid out for me... and I’m the same, I don’t buy anything just for the miles. I’ll keep thinking about it. It makes an expensive microwave seem less extravagant somehow.

    Airmiles Armchair Chatter

I’m turning to this board to help me with your thoughts on using AM for merchandise. Historically, I’ve either had cash miles or I’ve used dream miles for park tickets or other attractions. I have 7000 dream miles right now, and got a quote back today from airmiles personal shopper for a...

When people tell you to go early....

We have closed the parks 3 out of 4 nights, and will be going back tonight. My kids have managed fine - they’re almost 13 and 15. Afternoon rests, a swim, a good dinner and heading back around 8pm (7pm to DCA) has worked really well for us.

Need ride order plan strategy for one day at DCA ?

Rope drop is huge..we walked in at 8:22 on this DCA day, but it was successful! I followed the plan except we didn’t do Guardians and I realized whrn I looked again that we didn’t do monsters inc. see below. I would do the Pier first because everybody seemed to go to Cars land, we walked on to...

When people tell you to go early....

...listen to them. We were there for rope drop today. Rode Star Tours, Nemo, Buzz, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Astro Orbiter and Autotopia before 9:30 am. It makes a massive difference. Get there as early as you can. We rode every ride in the park today (Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is back...

Can Off-Site Guests Use GCH Exit?

They just picked us up by the valet/car area. We just put “Grand Californian Hotel” in the app. They dropped us off there twice in the afternoon/evening. We just ate on site once we were there.

Are you hesitating on Blue Bayou?

Don’t. I hesitated, going back and forth for months. We went last night and it was 100% worth the money. I had the ribeye, my husband the chicken. When my son couldn’t decide the waiter offered him the kids menu even though he’s 12 (and looks 15), he ordered the kids chicken. Our daughter got...

Can Off-Site Guests Use GCH Exit?

We are at the park now, and using the GCH exit midday and as an entrance and exit in the evening was great when we were at California Adventure. We had a Lyft pick us up at the GCH about ten minutes after getting off grizzly river run. It was perfect.

RSR during day and night - in 2 weeks

Not impossible! We did the above plan today, minus Guardians because my kids didn’t want to do it. So #18 and 20 flipped, and we rode Grizzly before we left. Walked into the park at 8:22. Had lunch at Flo’s, walked out of the park at 1:45. We did not use Max Pass. The key was definitely...

    Jedi Training Villians?

Thanks, Lizzy. I hope he does too. He’s more of a rule follower than one to be embarrassed - so if it’s ages up to 12 then he’ll probably do it regardless of how it “looks” - he’s tall, but 12! :)

    San diego go card

See if you can find the guide book for San Diego online. Some attractions you can go once per day, some you can only go once - because the zoo is a higher priced activity I'm not sure where it would fall in terms of once or an activity you can repeat. I am sure you know this, but depending on...

    Jedi Training Villians?

How old do you think is too old for this? My son really wants to do it, but is 12 and tall. I don’t want him embarrassed... or upset if he isn’t allowed, so would like to prepare him. Thanks!

    Pass/lanyard logistics

Can somebody share with me what I will get once I trade my voucher in for tickets? I should then put those tickets in a clear card holder on a lanyard for easy scanning? My kids won’t have phones with them, but may go do some rides on their own (15, 12) so would like to be prepared for them...
