Price differences between Loews and Universal sites

The Florida resident rate they apply to only a certain amount of rooms in each room category. So if you had it on, it could be the case that one of the lower priced room categories doesn't have any more rooms left at the Florida resident rate, so the lowest price could be a higher amount...

Price differences between Loews and Universal sites

You likely have the "Florida Resident" as "Yes" on the Universal Site. I just did your same search and noticed on the Universal site, it had "Florida Resident" turned on by default (not sure why). Once I turned it off and re-did the search, the rates are the same as Loews site: Edit: I can...

    Early Entry IOA

If you have park to park tickets, I would indeed start both days at IOA, but I would be leisurely hopping back and forth in both parks on both days. No need to confine yourself to IOA all day on the first day. Just go with the flow as you feel like.

    Passport for child

The lady told me to go to the front of the line and let the security know I'm there to pick up passports and they'd let me straight in. No need to wait in the monster line.

    Passport for child

Just want to give a follow up on my situation I noted above. Got a call from the Passport Office that the transfer request was made to. They told me my passport will be available for pickup next Tuesday after 1:00. Glad things finally got sorted out and I can stop panicking.

    Passport for child

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I was able to get the transfer request in yesterday. Our trip is in about 2.5 weeks. Now doing the whole "wait and hope we get a call from the local office that the transfer has been accepted" and hoping we don't have to do the final "fallback" option of...

Universal's Epic Universe - News and Discussion

Lot's of verticle construction going on now at Epic Universe with coaster track starting to be constructed and other spots seeing a lot of work going up! 2025 can't come soon enough!

Universal's Epic Universe - News and Discussion

From everything that's rumored for Epic Universe, I think it's a good mix of something for everyone, with a bit of a slant towards younger I'd say (most likely to better compete with Disney). Alicia Stella's reporting (Theme Park Stop) who I've always found to be quite accurate in her...

Universal's Epic Universe - News and Discussion

From what I've read the rights expire in 2028. Will be interesting to see what happens to the land as that day approaches. Disney could just end things then (since they now own the rights and might want to do something themselves) or they could extend it and Universal will continue to pay...

    Size restrictions at Universal Florida

If you do a search on youtube for "universal studios plus size" you will find a lot of videos by larger individuals testing things out and it will give you a good idea about the attractions and their size restrictions

Already have our tickets. Does express pass sell out?

Unfortunately I don't know the answer to these as I've never tried either.

Express Pass Hot Take: You don't need them, even when it's busy.

If going without EPs I find Park to Park more a necessity. Crowds ebb and flow between the parks. So there can be sizable stretches within the day where one park is much more busy than the other, and then it sawps, and then it swaps back again..... So having Park to Park, and monitoring wait...

    Breaks from the heat

Many (Most?) of the rides have indoor queues and there are quite a few rides that are pretty much entirely indoors From my recollection: Rides with indoor queues or are indoors themselves: IOA: Hulk (queue) Spiderman (queue and ride) Dr. Dooms (queue) Kong (queue and ride) Velocicoaster...

3 park park to park ticket

Yes. When I have a 3 park ticket and staying at a deluxe, my preferred touring with it is to do VB in the morning when it is less busy since resort Express Passes don't include VB. Then once it gets really busy (usually by noon-ish, depending on time of year mind you) we leave back to the...

    Ride share drop off

The better option IMO would be to get dropped off at Hard Rock then walk over from there. It's closer and you will go through a typically much shorter security wait along the garden path just before entering city walk from HRH's direction as opposed to going through the major city walk entrance...

    Universal Newbie

...I am assuming there is someplace we can stow our luggage on arrival and check-out day. Yes. There are luggage services that you can store your bags at before your room is ready and after you checkout. 1) When we arrive at check-in do we get our park tickets and express passes at that time...

Leaving in 2 days, still need tickets & resort....feeling stressed.

HRH is the closest to PB, and if you don't have a ton of luggage you could easily walk with it from one to the other. But it will likely be the most expensive choice for a single night. If the cost isn't a concern I would do HRH in your situation. From SF, you'll probably save a lot of money...

Leaving in 2 days, still need tickets & resort....feeling stressed.

You can book online. If you see a rate you are happy with (like you mentioned for Portofino in the other post) then I would go ahead and book it. That rate this close to when you arrive looks decent IMO. Park tickets don't sell out. Yes technically the parks could fill up, but that really...
