    AKV -Kidani Savanna View Room

Looks like you got some great responses. The Savanna View is the reason to stay at that resort and personally I haven't ever had a bad villa. Have a great trip!

Anyone else prefer the 1 bedroom over the studio?

It is just my husband and I when we stay, though we would still prefer a 1 bedroom. We usually book Studio's just so we can stretch the smaller number of points that we own, though if we have the opportunity, even for our short stays the 1 bedroom's are ideal and a whole different feel.

Had to buy the one time points!

Having points transferred into your account,be it through Disney or another member is one of the best options, when you are short points. I have purchased points both from Disney and from another member several times and it is so easy. Enjoy the trip with your family!

    Jambo House or Kidani Village?

If I had to choose, I would say Jambo. The great thing about AK though, is the ability to use the amenities at both resorts. The times I have stayed there, I have enjoyed the pool at both and the restaurants. You can walk between the resorts or take a small bus. Either is great. The only...

    lake view poly

I would agree that a higher floor is the best request. The one time I stayed at Poly, I had a first floor room and while there were no issues and it was nice to walk out the door at ground level, I agree with the views being much better, on higher floors. Have a great trip!

Are We Crazy? We totally LOVE Saratoga Springs!!

Not crazy at all, I love SSR. Have never understood the reputation it gets. Living in Orlando, when I go for one or two nights, I do not want to be on a schedule, so being able to walk back from Disney Springs is a huge plus. Also, the Treehouse Villas are amazing.

Something Strange with Re Titled Contracts

That is great information and thanks for sharing. In the past, Disney used one of the existing membership numbers that you already had to merge multiple contracts, so the creating a new membership number is not something I have ever heard of. Based on the issue it caused, I can see why in the...

    MVMCP Early Entry for DVC

Last year there was a separate line, it was obvious, maybe a sign, I don't remember that part, where you showed your membership card and ticket. It was quick and easy. Glad to hear they are doing that again this year!

    Wait list Advice

I would agree that single nights are almost always going to get, over several nights. I would book the 2 nights available in the pool view and waitlist the 3rd night. Good luck!

    Pete made me do it!

Congrats on your purchase and wishing you luck on ROFR! Boardwalk is a fantastic resort with a great location and so much to do!

    Ohana or California grill

IMO, very different experiences. Ohana is by far one of my favorite restaurants, for the food and the experience. It's a fun, immersive environment. California Grill is fantastic, though it is a more upscale, quieter and longer experience. Both are great, but for different experiences.

Keep my Riviera waitlist or not?

I am usually a supporter of split stays and enjoy experiencing multiple resorts in one stay, though if you can only stay 1 night, I wouldn't do it. I don't think that is enough time, especially at the end of the trip would be enough. Enjoy the longer stay at Boardwalk and book Riviera for a...

    Pool View v. Garden View

I have only experienced the Island/Garden view and it really it was more of the building next door view. The higher up you are, the foliage is only going to go so high and hide, so much, so I didn't find the view to feel very garden or relaxing. With Aulani, you are not spending time in the...

    Odd Point Sitiation

In my opinion there is one of two things going on, they refunded the points to you because of the issue with the villa or they canceled the reservation and re-booked you in another villa. In the second scenario the points have not been removed, though should have been. I had a situation where...

Vanilla, Pineapple and the smell you get at the beach (if that makes sense)! :lovestruc

Feb. short girls trip - Kidani or Jambo?

Both have their benefits, though I prefer to stay at Jambo. You can always walk between the two or use the shuttle, so you really have the benefits of both. I like Jambo because there are more restaurants and more to do at Jambo. Have a great trip!
