character meals

My understanding is we have to pay for the DDP since we wouldn't qualify for room deals if/when it comes back. Our kids are turning 8 and 9 this fall, so thinking if it comes back, the DDP could be our last shot to have the kids qualify for kid rates (-10) and character meals that are pricey...
