We then checked in for our post dessert party, and watched HEA. We waited a bit for the crowds to die down, and then were escorted to our dessert party.
We took a bus back to SSR. The only transportation snag was that night, where there was some sort of traffic jam on World Drive, and we were at a standstill for 30+(!) minutes.
After that very busy day, we slept in on Wednesday. I got up to buy ILL$ for Rise and FOP, and then I went back to bed!
By the time we were up and ready to go, it was probably 10:00 AM. We were thinking of taking the bus to DHS, but we decided to do another Minnie Van ride. Totally worth it for us.
With DAS and ILL$ and standby, we did
TOT
Rise
Muppets
Mickey and Minnie's RR
We called for a Minnie Van to go to AK, but they were too busy and actually cancelled our reservation. We walked a few corrals over to the AK bus and did that instead.
At AK, we did
EE
Safari
FOP
Dinosaur
We then took a bus to AKL for dinner at Boma. We took a Minnie Van back to SSR.
A few thoughts:
DS called this a successful trip, and he thanked me for planning it and his sister for suggesting DAS for him. DS still loves Disney. Winning!
It was way too hot to maintain this level of park touring. The heat index was 100 both days. I got overheated and had to take a break at Satouli canteen. We've done the parks in June and July before, but those were longer trips with a mid day break.
The DAS rules are changing soon. DS got in under the "old" rules, as our trip happened before the change. Hopefully, he will qualify in the future, as DAS helped him immensely.
Speaking of future, the next trip will likely be in 2025, using our new points at Riviera! (We've owned at BLT since 2010, and since we had such a good time, we succumbed to addonitis!)
