I could forward mine to you?I got nothing!

On my Alaska cruise (on Norwegian), I was very underwhelmed by Victoria. Wouldn't pay extra for it.
We really enjoyed Hubbard versus Endicott (we ended up there instead of Tracy Arm the year we sailed). I haven't seen Dawes so I can't directly compare those two, but it put on a great show of calving for us. We also enjoy Victoria as well, but we go for a long weekend, not just a few hours. I'm not sure how it fares as a port stop.
We loved Victoria, have been there twice. Icy Strait Point was probably the most underwhelming port we've ever visited.
I recommend going to Victoria on your own. We love that city. My favorite non-art museum is there just across the street from the Empress Hotel. We also love Butchart gardens which is outside of town. They have a lovely afternoon tea. We have enjoyed gourmet food and great fish and chips on the dock. Just a beautiful, small town.I can see that. I haven't been since high school. Are there gardens there? I feel like that is something my mom would like and it was a family trip.
I feel like Victoria is easy enough to get to from Vancouver, but as I said, it's been a while since I've been. I have family in Vancouver so we'll likely visit them prior to the cruise and could easily visit Victoria prior too. I spent a lot of time in the greater Vancouver area growing up, at least for a girl born and raise in SoCal!
I think I'll stick to the 7 day based on everyone's feedback. If we want to see Victoria we can do it prior to the cruise. Now I just need to pick a date I guess!
That won't really work because your placeholder already has a reservation # attached to it and any cruise you put on hold online will also have a reservation # attached to it. So if you really want a certain room I guess you could do a 3 day hold online, call later to use your OBB and just put in a different room number and when your hold expires in 3 days hopefully you can go back in and snatch up that room you want with your second booking, though I don't know how long it takes for a stateroom to go back into inventory. Hope that made sense lol
I was able to book at 4:15am online this morning.
Villefranche over CannesAny suggestions on which of the 6-Night Mediterranean Cruise’s from Barcelona is better?
The May one goes to Cannes, La Spezia and Salerno.
The July one goes to Villefranche, Livorno and Naple
they seem to be ports that are similar, I’m not sure which to do.
LOVE Jo!!! She is our favourite by far! However, she is now on the Fantasy and given how long she stayed on the Wonder, I wouldn't expect her to move to the Magic anytime soon. #tonyfromspain is still on the Magic (he just came back apparently) and he's good...but he's NO Jo Slo
We are waiting for Northern Europe (which we had booked for this August but had to cancel)....if the dates (or the price) don't work, I think we will be going with NCL.....
We luv Jo too! I thought Matt was the club host on the Fantasy now. Just read someone's trip report from Jan. that he was still there.
We were on the Fantasy over Christmas and thought we would have Jo, what a disappointment at Sail Away to see Matt. Sorry we just did not care for him. It would be much more tempting to book a cruise knowing who the club host would be. I realize even if dcl planned that far, there are still many factors that could change the CH. Curious to find out which CH will initially be on the Wish
Maybe Jo was still on vacation at that time? Hmmmm......interesting.....
Don't think we've ever had Matt. To be honest, they don't ALL stand out for us lol Those that do have been Chris (had him on the Fantasy in 2018, he was pretty awesome), Tony from Spain and Jo. Couldn't tell you any of the others we've had
On the 2019 WBPC, there were fewer than 250 passengers under the age of 18, and the vast majority of cabins were double-occupancy. Despite being sold out, the ship was nowhere near full. Lots of empty chairs in the dining room and main theater, and we never had any trouble finding deck chairs by the pool.Cool!
Yeah, I'm also LF to our PC cruise in what.. 21 days..wow its almost here.
But since I don't like the Wonder as much as the Fantasy I'm not 100% stoked, so many sea days on a smaller, almost full ship make me a bit anxious. My fav part of cruising is the ports. Is why I LOVED the 11-night SC... so many POC's, all of them absolutely magical... I was getting a bit tired of cruising DCL but that sailing changed my mind and I'm just dreaming of doing it again... I'll be stalking the DCL website (and here) more intensely starting next week.. hope they bring that itinerary back!
Have fun on that upcoming cruise!
The online availability starts by showing the 8 lowest numbered rooms in each category--which means it starts with the port side and won't show starboard rooms until there are fewer than 8 port rooms left. If you want a starboard room you'll need to either call DCL or use a TA.Gee, it would have been nice to know when booking was going to open. I asked yesterday when online would open and people said 8AM EST, check at 7:50 and it was open and all the starboard side 4A for the cruise I wanted were already gone. Bummer.
Like Geomom said. But there used to be a feature to put in a specific stateroom number, if it was available it came up. Not sure if that was completely removed, but I haven't been able to find that capability any longer.Gee, it would have been nice to know when booking was going to open. Thanks for the info, on the line now waiting to talk to someone. Except for the 35 minute hold time no problem making the stateroom number change. Stupid that they don't show port and starboard side rooms at the same time, but it's Disney, I've come to expect things like that from them. The online availability starts by showing the 8 lowest numbered rooms in each category--which means it starts with the port side and won't show starboard rooms until there are fewer than 8 port rooms left. Wow it is. Makes the decision easy, we will be taking a break from DCL.Yes it is. All I can say is WOW.
I could forward mine to you?
I believe you have to call for a placeholder booking. I do not believe Disney has it set up to do that online. We had a placeholder that we already booked into a "pending" itinerary until summer 2021 opened up. Am I able to change the itinerary online or do I have to call?
