Hi,
After checking out of BCV....I realized I forgot to leave a tip:headache:
We moved alot this trip.....tips were going left and right...but
I forgot to leave one in the room....:(

I called for extra towels, toilet paper, and a frying pan...
2 different calls......I gave each one 5 dollars....I figured
it was a looooong walk down that BCV hallway...

When I realized I didn't leave a tip in the room.....I wondered if it was
needed....
I didn't receive trash and towel, or a room clean...

I'm thinking a should have left 5-10 dollars to clean the room
after I checked out....I did leave it very clean though....

What do you usually do?
Thanks
Kerri

The person who cleaned your room after you left was most likely a different person than either of the people who brought you the towels or the pan, in addition, you should tip per service, meaning the delivery of those items is a different service than cleaning. Yes you should have tipped, but everyone forgets now and again, just remember to tip next time.

We tip for short stay such as this. I figure housekeeping has to fully clean the villa before and after I leave, so that alone is worth a tip. But I wouldn't fret about forgetting to tip...sounds like you were pretty generous for those who rendered small services to you during your stay. :)
