1) Thank you.
2) Things are progressing.
. . . been a very long 7-months (8-days ICU, 4½-weeks inpatient, 5-months bedridden or whelchair bound)
. . . broken ankle has healed
. . . broken discs (2) won't heal, and no surgery is possible
3) I start physical therapy on 8/28/2017.
. . . I can walk, but not more than about 100-200 steps at a time
. . . I can drive, it just takes a little effort to get in/out of the vehicle

NOTE:
At this time, I have no idea if I can/will return to being a workingWDW cast member (full-time or part-time).
There is a lot of standing and walking, and the fractured discs can't handle that.

Oh My Goodness! I am so sorry to hear this news. Please keep working hard on your recovery. Never give up! You will be in my thoughts and prayers!

Does anyone know the current price of Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno?
I'm wondering this too. It's hard to figure out. They have prices for the kid's menu but not the regular menu. I thought it would be a set price like the rest of the character meals.

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to read through all the posts on this thread so I apologize in advance if this question has already been asked: We will be going to Crystal Palace for lunch on our trip. We have 3 children and 2 adults in our party. Can the children choose food from the adult section of the buffet or are they only limited to the children's side? Also, how long should I expect to stay there for a dinner meal? We want to be sure to meet all the characters and also be able to enjoy our meals without feeling rushed. Lastly, is it a good idea if we are celebrating a birthday, to remind the server when we arrive? Whenever I call Disney, it says that it's not noted on my reservation even though I've told them every time I've called to put the celebration on my reservation (had the same problem when I went earlier this year too!)!
Thanks!

Ditto!!

All the food is available for anyone of any age - kids can eat from the adult section and adults can eat from the kids section (I happen to like some of kids' selections). The sections aren't physically separated. As far as how much time - we've only done breakfast, and, being two older adults, we really don't care if we see all the characters or not. But if it's important to you that you do, I think I'd carve out an hour and a half from your schedule. It probably won't take that long, but it all depends on how you hit the characters and their rotation among the tables. If you just missed one, you'll have to wait for that one to come back around, and they do take breaks. I can't really address the question about birthday celebrations, not having done one, but it certainly can't hurt to remind the server of the occasion. Or tell the person when you first check in for your reservation.

Can the children choose food from the adult section of the buffet or are they only limited to the children's side?

1) No problem.
2) They don't have "adult sides" or "kid sides".
3) They have the buffet.
.
4) As for "celebrations" there basically are none.
5) They usually ask who is celebrating something today.
6) Then, they congratulate everyone at the same time.
7) Disney mass-eateries are too well attended to allow individual celebrations or wishes.
8) If folks want to celebrate, they need to pay for something (such as a podium cake).

Thanks!

It was my daughter's birthday last trip and this was noted on some of our meals. For out meals at Garden Grill and Akershus (both on her actual birthday), the server brought out a birthday card signed by the characters and put a cupcake with a candle for her so we could sing. It wasn't really a special desert, but it made her feel special. I don't know if Crystal Palace does that. We didn't ask for anything specific, but that is what those two restaurants did for her.

Thanks! I guess it won't hurt to remind the hostess and server when we get to our ADR. T-minus 9 days til our trip! We can't wait!

Thanks for all the responses, everyone!

1) The host/hostess is one of the SEATERs.
2) Yes, it doesn't hurt to mention it again, at the podium.
3) And, the sweeter you are to both the podium person and the person who escorts you to the table, the better.
4) Obviously, mentioning it nicely and kindly to the SERVER helps. *
5) Good luck.

* NOTE:
Any kind of niceties at the table are due solely to the SERVER.
It is their attention and initiative, or lack thereof.
If they don't care, you basically get nothing.
If they are interested in you, a lot can be done.

FYI, Trail's End breakfast is now $22 + tax for adults, $12 + tax for children. The dinner price is unchanged. Thank you!

Cinderella Round Table breakfast now 65.44 for an adult with tax and gratuity included. Just booked and charged for Dec 11th. Thanks!

I will attempt to break away from family activities over Thanksgiving and update prices for the "Sticky".
. . . I am sure MrsRustyScupper will understand why I won't have time to help cleanup or help with the dishes.
. . . Oh, the sacrifices I make for charity and the benefit of others !
