can gift cards from the Disney store be used in Disneyworld?

Well I kinda double dipped on the Disney cards. My local Kroger (grocery store) gives 2 times the points towards gas purchases. So I would go in, buy the Disney gift cards to pay for the vacation, got 10 cents off a gallon of gas each time I filled up for a long time, and also used my Disney credit card to pay for them. So I got points for gas, points for Disney gift cards from the my Chase Visa and all for just paying for my trip.
