When on the dining plan (assuming it will return in 2021, is it possible for three people to sit at a table restaurant and share food from only one or two dining plan table credits?

If no dining plan, is it possible to share one entree between two or three people? Do you have to notify ahead of time?

When my family of three have eaten at 1 and 2 TS credit restaurants, we have sometimes used two or four credits and paid OOP for an extra salad or starter and an extra glass of wine etc.

When things closed, there was no problem doing this with or without a DDP. You don't have to notify ahead of time, but if you do say something like, "these two will share that entree," they MIGHT split it for you in the kitchen and put it on two plates. You will need to tell them you need extra plates if you're going to share.

NOTE: Via Napoli will NOT let you do this if on the DDP. Everyone doesn't have to use a credit, but everyone does need to order some kind of food (can't just order a drink). Example: one person orders the components of a credit and the other two both order an app. Don't say anything about sharing to the CM, but when the food comes to the table, it won't matter who eats it.
