CP before the park opens ?

We have PS's for CP before MK opens. It will be our first time to get into the park early and I was wondering if we are escorted to the rest. or do we have time to stop for Photo ops?

They pretty much take you in. If it is not to much of a request and depending on the cm they will probably allow you to do it.

We had an 8:05 reservation during the last week in September. We were not escorted, and there was plenty of time to stop for pictures - the Disney photographers were all out taking pictures too.

The only they might do is make you wait a little before going in if you show up too early. Some of our best pictures of the castle is when the park was empty in the morning! Have a relaxing morning !

Once you are through the turnstiles you can do pretty much whatever you want. We typically will arrive early for the PS and spend time taking photos up and down mainstreet and in front of the castle without anyone else cluttering up the photo.

You will often need to have your PS number to get through the turnstiles, but if you wait until they are busy checking others you can slip through (bad John, bad). Disney busses that are running early for character meals don't check for PS#'s.

Esp, for days that the park does not have early entry I like to get the meal early enough so that we are out before the park opens. That way you can wait right at the rope drop. My nephew got to open Fantasyland this way (with a wand and fanfare).
