I dated a girl like that for awhile, because you know, last pizza joke. It wasn't pretty. I'm not proud of that one.

We still are facing trouble with health care, though. I can't figure it out. I've seen article after article claiming the new health care laws have done an amazing job of keeping premiums down for Americans. Yet my government (firmly Democrat) is telling me that I have to pay more for my healthcare because the costs are skyrocketing. Which one is it? Hard to figure out .

Thanks. Sadly, one of those things that many proponents of Obamacare don't realize is that the large businesses were exempt from the paying the taxes/ subsidies. That may have influenced it, or at least, sue didn't help.

Took the day off to rake up the leaves before heading out to see the ladies. I'm hoping for a good blow today.

Be sure to wear protection. You can still get infections, er um injuries, from some of those blowers.

Truth is, I believe they've already priced us out to an extent.
The last trip down included a good bit of time staying off world.
If we get down there again in the near, our lodging may well be entirely off world.
(otherwise, I doubt we could even afford the parks at all)

True. If it wasn't for DVC, we couldn't afford to go to WDW. The room costs us $650 (annual dues to increase) for the week. Then, it's tickets and food. I could control food costs if i was a normal person, but i ate myself out of normal years ago. But, we certainly to the parks differently as we buy the number of tickets we can afford. Thankfully, DVC has a beach resort,so we can just eventually go stay there and not be too depressed about not being able to go to the parks that we can't see.

Rough day today. The memorial service for the father of one of our neighbors was today. Our families have known each other for over 20 years and our kids are best friends. It was tough to she the grandkids talk about grandpa and my neighbor going though that roller coaster. He was ill for a while so it was expected but still

It's a bit easier when expected, but not much. Prayers for your neighbor's family.

Not so much fun for me. Threw my back out yesterday again.
On the other hand, I'm enjoying screaming in pain whenever I move slightly wrong, so there's that.
I wonder what octave I'll hit this time?

No, it wasn't that bad. I still would have went there mind you. I have Southhampton v West Brom today, which is about as ugly of a game.

That sucks. Hope you get better soon. I'm doing the same with my knee right now, although it doesn't hurt that bad yet. I get my dr to write me a script for the methylprednisone dose pack each time I go. That way, when I'm hurting, I can start that before I get to the doctor.

You can just post photos directly here now. Use the upload file, unless you picture is too big (MB). As for th medication, it is Crown Royale. I'm not breaking out the big stuff until it gets bad enough that I can't walk.

I was going to say “hope you’re all enjoying the weekend” but it sounds like some of you are falling apart. We’re all getting old I suppose. DD17’s boyfriend was here last night and they were talking about his hair, if it was dirty blond or light brown. I said it was dirty blond like mine. I was quickly corrected and informed that my hair is most definitely grey (or gray if you’re not using the Queen’s English). Yep, getting old can be rough.

Speaking of the boyfriend, he had dinner at our house last night for the first time. I was on my best behaviour, although I did make sure to point my knife in his direction a few times.

Happy Sunday. The Gators beat the points spread yesterday against the off week so all is good. Phins take on the hated Jets today. We shall see. BBQ'ing some ribs and chicken for dinner tonight.

Back from our concert trip, great show but no naked ladies were spotted.....on stage.

Arrived home to DS and his buddies cooking breakfast. DS couldn't find the full package of bacon that was in full sight on the shelf in the refrigerator. I guess doing well in school and being observant at home are two different things.

Cj, I've started to use Flickr for photos now that Photobucket decided to act like a tool.

Norm keep up with that medication, it's bound to make a difference.

pkondz, hope the back is better soon. Maybe try some of Norm's medication.

Happy Sunday. Oldest dd wants $ for a Halloween costume. I tell DW that she needs to earn it. So, dd does a crappy job cleaning the house. I suggested she cut the grass, but that is way too much work my princess. I said she could wear the Charlie Brown ghost costume.
The money tree just keeps on getting picked clean.....

I get the same on my phone. So, I select the "fix" option, which makes the picture blurrier and reduces the quality. I guess fix means it can now be posted online.

I realize they're messing with your pension (which as others have said is criminal), but shouldn't you get the surgery sooner rather than later? Aside from the pension, I thought the other thing about state/federal work was better health care.
