Delfino Riviera is much more formal than Emeril's. Emeril's is a noisy bistro, whereas Delfino is a hushed formal dining room. They don't require jacket & tie, but you'll probably feel more comfortable in one. And besides, wearing nice clothes will make you feel good in what is a very special setting -- it's like an Italian palazzo.
Appetizers range from $16 to $20, soups and salads from $8 to $10, pastas from $15 to $20, entrees from $27 to $28. Desserts are $8.
The food is very good, although it should be noted that some people on this board have been less than overwhelmed. I liken it to haute cuisine as it was maybe 20 or 30 years ago. That is, it's not glitzy or "innovative" (with unusual combinations of unusual ingredients). Instead, it's pretty straightforward interpretations of fairly standard dishes executed with great skill using the best seasonal ingredients.
One tip: Ask to have dessert served on the terrace.
If you're uncertain, you can sit in the bar/lounge area and have a light meal of an appetizer or maybe a pasta dish.
