Disney Gift Card Deals

Reporting back on the 10% off RedCard anniversary coupon. I tried to get a $100 Disney Gift Card (then I’d add more to the transaction if it accepted) but the coupon did not apply. The register screen came up with an error message stating no deal items were found.

I’ll use this coupon on other items and will wait to see if they run the 10% off Target gift card deal in the coming months.

Thanks for trying. Meant to ask here the other day if someone would try it when they got theirs because I've been curious and won't hit my anniversary for several months yet.
 


I got excited about the 1% coming back on eBates, but when I really sit down and do the math, I don't think I can make it work in my favor. First of all, I don't spend "money" on my gift card purchases. I acquire my vacation gift cards from SwagBucks, Target FWP cards and BestBuy rewards. Since I can get a $25 Target card each month for only 2200 SB (a 12% savings), it doesn't make sense to cash out for PayPal (no discount) and use the funds to go through eBates (1%) and use the RedCard (5%). Since I can't use my FWP cards online, I don't really have a reason to go through eBates.

My next trip is October 2018 which means I have 12 months to cash out SB at the discounted rates. Right now, I have 3 months worth of points for discounted cards in my account (6600+) so I have November, December and January covered. I am not going to cash out for anything else until I have all 12-months covered. After that, I will cash out for PayPal, go through eBates and use my RedCard to buy the rest of the cards that I will need.

Solid plan! FYI, if you have a credit card that gives you cash back... BJs can be better at the end. 1-2% cash back + 5% discount & no concern about eBates tracking. You don't have to be a member to buy from them online.
 


Help. I ordered a Disney email delivery card from target on Thursday. I received an email that your order was sent and all that shows up is the picture of a gift card. No link or card numbers. I’ve called them on Friday two different times to rectify this. Both times I was on the phone for over 45 minutes. After speaking to my 6th person who was supposed to be a gift card specialist, I was told it would be resent and could take up to 24more hours. I still have not received the card.

Does anyone have a direct line I could call without having to go through so many reps to take care of this? Of course they will not cancel the order since it is non refundable. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the heads up! I have a few $40ish dollar Visa giftcards floating around... originally they were supposed to be for groceries but that never happened, so I was waiting for this to use them instead. Now I just have to decided Disney, or do I think about Target in hopes they do the 10% off thing...

Should solve your problem.

If it doesn't the only things I can think of are (and I don't mean to sound ridiculous): checking junk & spam folders on your email client (like Outlook or whatever you use), checking junk and spam folders at your email source (sometimes Comcast throws something in junk mail before even sending it through to my email), opening the email in your browser (sometimes there's an option in my outlook that says open this email in browser and that brings up pictures that don't come through in the email).

I just ordered some on friday and there is a picture of the gift card and to the right there is a red oval that says eCard Center, if you have that there, click on it and it will open a new window that has a place to enter your email, click submit and then it brings up the gift card.
 
First Timer Question:

I just got my first batch of GC ($500) and I've loaded them all in DisneyGiftCard.com. Everything was activated so so far so good! I plan to now transfer on one card to make room for more cards. Upon transferring is it safe to then delete the $0 Balance Cards and throw the actual card away???

I'd rather not keep a pile of GC around the house as my kids are likely to discover them.

Yes. FWIW I keep a backup empty card to pack in my suitcase in case anything happens to my loaded cards so I can transfer the balance if I have to.

Yes. But if you ask they will say no it won't work. (If still worried buy just one, look at your receipt, and you will see the 5% was deducted from the total charged. That's what I did my first time!)
 
I'm not sure when it started since I hardly ever go to the site anymore, but I noticed on my coke rewards if you enter 10 codes by 12/22/17 you'll get a $5 amazon card. Makes a good use for those caps if you still have a bag of them laying around like I do.

Thanks for your help. After contacting them again today, it miraculously was emailed again with all the information. It took close to 2 hours on the phone to clear it up. I’ll pass on ordering there again.
